Wouldn't recommend this. I don't think it is allowed and it tends to make folks mad that have a pass for that lot and can't park due to someone taking up two spots. I believe the rule is to park in your spot and set up behind your vehicle.

No umbrellas is pretty standard at most outdoor stadium sporting events. Other than golf, I'm not sure where they are allowed, and yes, it is an issue to obstructing other's view.

I would imagine that they sprayed the majority of the structure and will have to hand paint around the lettering, so they removed the plastic and will just tape it off. My guess at least.

I agree to a degree. The question I posed earlier in this thread hasn't been answered though. Bleil came in last year, installed a new defensive scheme and held SMU to 6 points in game two. The defense also wasn't getting torched to the degree that it is this year. Why should we give Mendoza two years when he has 9 returning starters from last year's defense that didn't look this bad?

McFadden is a man among boys. I hated Herbstriet's comment that he was the best player in the nation, but his team would keep him from winning the Heisman. What's that about. The Heisman was originally created for the best collegiate ballplayer, not the best collegiate ballplayer on a team competing for the national championship.

I don't think the skills it takes to hit someone and the skills it takes to be an effective blocker are the same.

My only issue with the "give Mendoza time" side of the coin is that Bleil arrived last year, installed a new system and had us playing pretty good by week two.
