I would like to see the following: DE's: Chapman and Gilmore DT's: Stevenson and Thomas if he reaches his potential. Miller follows closely behind Thomas LB's: Nwigwe, Holman and Monroe give us the most athletes, but this is a deep position. CB's: Bush and Green or Loren Safety: Weathers and Chapman

I understand your thinking, but considering I would have a difficult time pulling SMU, here's the scenario I would like to see play out. We surprising play OU close, not expecting a win, but let's say the final is in the range of 24-10. Tech barely beats SMU in a slugfest, say 35-34. We then hammer SMU by 21+, finish with a winning record and win the Sun Belt, OU is surprisingly strong and finishes in the Top 10, Tech is a Top 20 and SMU is successful, but less than us.

Not being in the DFW area anymore, I didn't hear the news about the Cotton Bowl. I figured that would up and leave as soon as Jerry World was completed. Is this a done deal? The difference in the city governments of Dallas and Houston are amazing. Moving to Houston 2 years ago, it has been refreshing to observe a city government that has a "get it done" attitude.
