  1. This is what I was referring to: I agree with you. I don't think they would ever allow parking on the PEB fields.
  2. The "field in question" has always hosted tailgating, the Kid's Zone, stage for the band, corporate/departmental tents, etc... Folks aren't going to be parking on it, just tailgating.
  3. Don't get me wrong, I applaud your work, but sometimes I've got to call em' like I see em'
  4. They must have caught us on a day when we weren't in the awful all green.
  5. Thank you. If we want a big time program, well then these are the growing pains we will have to learn to deal with. Ever tailgated at LSU. I know most of you hate going there, but I worked with a group of alums, and unless you were willing to pay for a parking space on top of you season tickets and donation to their athletic foundation, then you just found a place "close" to the stadium. Of course, they all go in to the game to watch, well at least 92,000 of the 100,000+ that tailgate do.
  6. When you've got that subject matter to work with, being Da Man ain't that difficult.
  7. I had Kansas over Georgetown in the final. I think Georgetown is playing the best at this time and should win it all.
  8. If we now have that many large donors that would fill up all of the parking around Fouts, then I have no problem.
  9. My prayers are with all of our public servants.
  10. Left field...UNTflyer. UNTflyer...Left field
  11. When I was a kid, my favorites were the Model A, the go-cart and Boomer.
  12. Cooley or Buford Julep, you may know the answer to this question. During Jesse Ratliff's time at NT, one of his high school teammates also signed with us. He was a guy that could jump out of the gym, but was not very consistent. Do you remember who I am talking about. The name Nunley seems familiar, but I am not sure if that is the correct name.
  13. Didn't realize he was referencing The Talons. Makes perfect sense now.
  14. Not busting any bubbles, because while SI puts every team in the tourney on the cover every year we don't get to participate very often.
  15. Unbelievable! Someone posts a nice article on Coach Dodge and a couple of meatheads get the thread locked with political crap. Let's try this again and maybe focus on the content of the article. TD Article
  16. That "certain group" pays a premium for those seats. It is the same at most ballparks where corporations buy up the good seats then don't attend. Unfortunately, they pay for that right. I don't agree with it, but that is the way it is.
  17. May I suggest a little more fiber to start out your day?
  18. but I noticed the football board is only a page and a 1/4 long now. Does anyone know the practice schedule for Spring Ball?
  19. I thought this was incorrect, because I had always remembered them as the Cardinal, so I did a little research. Here is what I found. Stanford Cardinal History Interesting that the change occurred in 1972 long before the current NCAA ban was even thought about. Also interesting that The Tree is part of the band and not the official mascot of Stanford.
