  1. I hate this trade. As someone posted in the other thread, why let Nash go and then resign Kidd a couple years later? Makes no sense and reeks of desperation.
  2. With all due respect, GreenExes, who is that in your avatar?
  3. Not sure, but after June's screw up in the recruiting process, he'll need someone to mend fences.
  4. Do you look at the world through turd colored glasses? FFR, don't worry about the water shortage. With these waterless urinals, we'll be fine.
  5. I find their mascot offensive being I have Irish in my heritage. I would like them to change their name to Red Headed White Boys.
  6. In describing her, sadly, yes.
  7. Oh, I respect his musicianship and I also prefer folks who write their own material, I just don't think the Foo Fighters will go down as one of the great rock bands, that's all. Hey, to each his own. I can respect your opinion. Okay, let's take this thread in a different direction... Someone please explain the attraction to Amy Winehouse?
  8. You're right! We could refer to the time when "Seattle Grung" was the way of the rock world and all the bands sounded the same. The lead singer usually sounded like he was trying to drop a painful load ala Pearl Jam, Creed, Nirvana, etc... Many don't know this, but REO Speedwagon is MeanGreenSig's all-time favorite.
  9. Which is an indication of where rock music is right now...not good. Grohl a god? Of what?
  10. Ditto. I would like to see what he can do with DeLoach as his coach.
  11. I agree, but I don't think he fits that Parcell's mold for a RB. Parcells has historically prefered large tough runners like Rodney Hampton and Marion Barber.
  12. Isn't there a saying about ignorance and bliss? You should change your name to Daddy Blissfully Dumpsalot.
  13. There you go JJ. It will be interesting to see how they respond, but I think this was needed. It just doesn't make sense to beat OSU, play Texas tough, beat South Alabama and then have some of the losses we've had.
  14. Good post until here. Why even take a shot when I was asking a serious question. I really don't hate soccer, I just respond the way I do because of your comments regarding baseball, a sport I played for 18 years.
  15. I hope their is a Fitzgerald, Vizza, Mosely and Robertson jersey available.
  16. And he left because of academic issues. Buford, I would love to see Flemings play for us, but he obviously needs to get his grades in order to ever see the court of a D1A program. I'm not saying Horton isn't a risk, but he did apply himself and earn an Associates Degree while dealing with the effects of Hurricane Katrina and qualify for a D1 program. Those would be two things that Flemings hasn't done yet.
  17. Still allows a lot of variance and contributes to the "wheels off" nature of the sport. Let's see, football, basketball, volleyball all have exact dimensions for the playing surface, yet soccer, well, just make sure it is somewhere in between these benchmarks. Doesn't make sense to me.
  18. I hope you are right, but what makes you feel this way?
  19. Because after watching Amy Winehouse, I'm trying to figure out how she won anything, the Foo Fighters are okay, but not great and Kanye West and rap should never win record of the year. The above is the HO of a early 40 year old white guy.
  20. Because Horton obviously proved he could succeed academically by getting is Associates Degree, while Fleming is still not focused on the books, as quoted by his current coach.
  21. True and then he showed up last year out of shape. Just my opinion, but I don't think he had the committment level on the field, in conditioning work or in the classroom that TD expects.
  22. Maybe not "Bobby Knight," but at least show some disappointment or some sort of emotion. I, too, appreciate how he represents the university. Regarding timeouts, I've never understood that strategy. I think you need to have a few late, but not at the expense of letting a team run away from you. I've listened to or watched JJ not call timeouts to stop a run, etc... and it is very frustrating. I like the man, but just don't think he gets the most out of the talent he recruits.
  23. Time for the post game show and JJ preaching about the tough loss and what a great team UALR. For once, I'd like to hear him go "Bobby Knight" on some of this and show some emotion. I know he got us to the tourney last year, but I still think his in-game coaching is poor. Too much talent on this team for us to be this inconsistent.
  24. White blocked. What a horrible loss. What is wrong with this team?
