  2. I'm disappointed they arrive so out of shape. Do they still have a redshirt year to utilize? I think these two could be great OL, if...IF, they can get in shape.
  3. Love the comment section. That can't even agree.
  4. Shiner. St. Arnold's produces great beer and are located in Houston. Couple of Rice grads started it up a few years ago. They are heavily involved in Houston area charitable events. A recent Texas Highways had an article on TX. breweries and they were highlighted along with Rahr's in Ft. Worth and a couple others. Lone Star is disgusting. Keystone Light from my poor college days.

  6. Glad to see you decided to keep you positive outlook after the cookout. Fentriss left due to his lingering knee injury, not grade related. Horton, well, he didn't take care of business at his JUCO, so how could the AD staff be responsible for him? I would guess that many coaches rely on the input they receive from the JUCO coaches when they are recruiting these young men. Gilmore either struggles academically or just doesn't care about hitting the books. He did the same under DD and makes me wonder if we landed him because he was questionable academically like a few others that were highly skilled athletically but not so academically
  7. The Meager post is classic.
  8. He was responding to MCMLXXX's response to your wheel's off post above.
  9. Oh, I don't think it went over anyone's head. I just think we all don't see the Dodge's thinking that way. I was also disappointed that Dallas Green has apparently gone back to his negative ways.
  10. What position do you think he will play? NT is loaded at WR and DB. Plus, I just don't see them risking injury to run a few plays at another position.
  11. Hope he develops. Also, glad to see JJ's extension was approved. Why do the coaches refer to RV as Coach?
  12. From all the reports out of practice though, Riley isn't even close to Vizza at this point My money is still on Riley travelling with the team, along with a few other freshmen, and redshirting this year.
  13. Tell me how the game turns out on Saturday.
  14. Why burn a redshirt for mopup duty? If he plays this year, it is a waste of eligibility just like a few freshmen last year.

  16. Glad to see June has mastered reading cue cards. Listening to him makes me sleepy.
  17. Womens' Softball Team Loses!
  18. I would recommend icing and elevating that knee.
  19. It's called tailgating for a reason. I remember pulling in a couple of years ago and most of the empty parking spaces were taken up by folks tents, chairs, grills, etc... I know that the decision to go to "festival parking" was not a popular one and could have been handled better, but they have to plan for the day when the parking lot will be consistently full. Now, I do think that you should be able to use as many spaces as you have passes for.
  20. Mean Joe stole my Coke and drank it when I was a kid.
  21. I like the ad for the suction cup koozie. It states that it has been tested up to 85 mph, yet one of the koozies in the picture has fallen over. They must have hired the moron that put together the ad in the old North Texan magazine regarding the football season and tailgating with a truck with a longhorn sticker on it.
  22. That, and it allows him to become comfortable in the college gameday setting in places like Minihatten and Baton Rouge and experience the speed of the game from the sideline.
  23. A for that tailgating friend of the fairer sex!
