  1. I don't think this is accurate.
  2. Yep, that's it.
  3. yahoo.com Putin's going to end up starting WWIII
  4. Walk-on RB from Sanger. Supposedly a James Mitchell starter kit.
  5. I know you love the Sooners, but I could care less about UT. My point is that it appears that teams from the "Big 6" conferences get preferential treatment from the NCAA in whether it is in regards to granting redshirts, APR discipline or recruiting/player violations. Yep, Jason White played at OU for a decade and Dvoracek (sp?) got an extra year for being angry and drunk, yet our own Zach Muzzy couldn't get one extra year for blowing out a knee. It's just typical of the NCAA.
  6. Cincy QB sues NCAA
  7. Nice first post. BTW, someone correct me if I am wrong, but isn't Hank responsible for the majority of advertising we see at Fouts/Super Pit, etc...
  8. I wish Edwards well, and understanding what it is like to lose a parent, it does take an emotional toll. Being a fan of one of the "chosen teams" is just as easy as appearing envious of these teams.
  9. Speaking of Meager, I would have loved to see him have 4 or 5 years under Dodge considering the credentials he had coming out of high school. It is a shame he had to play under RF who wasted his talent. That young man deserves a standing ovation at Senior Day for putting up with what he did/has and for sticking with the program. I know things didn't work out like he wanted them to, but he has handled the situation much better than many much older than him would have.
  10. They listed these food items on the broadcast last night. I thought the same thing and wonder how much faster he would be if his nutritional intake was better. Then again, he's just pounding calories to keep up with the amount he is burning.
  11. Couldn't agree more. What I meant by bringing Hall into this conversation is that many people loved Hall, but he did not have a strong arm and was not as mobile as Vizza, he just knew how to lead and win. I see Vizza as being a leader in much the same way Hall was, but with much more physical talent as a QB. I'm not knocking Hall at all. I love the intangibles he brought and his never say die attitude
  12. Part of the problem with your Rucker post was stating the nature of the injury which violates HIPPA laws. You will notice that Vito, nor any other reporter, has stated the exact nature of the injury other than it was a shoulder injury.
  13. I know what you are saying, but I meant from a talent standpoint. Amazing to watch especially the rings and parallel bars.
  14. Anyone besides me find it odd that she was the "Freshman of the Year" and is listed as 21 years old?
  15. Noted on the homepage of the athletic's website.
  16. I'd rather hear what GreenP1 has to say. I would attribute the reasons you listed to being a true freshman and having an entire team learning a new system. Vizza's credentials coming out of high school were impressive and based upon your comments, you seem to be saying that we've seen the best there is from Vizza. Thinking that a 19 year old with Vizza's talent and work ethic can't improve is ridiculous. TD proved at SLC that he will do what is best for the team. What I'm about to type will probably piss off many of you and you'll be calling for my head. Let me also preface my coming comments by stating that I was a huge Scott Hall fan, but Vizza is much more talented as a quarterback than Hall was and appears to have many of the same leadership qualities. I think it is ridiculous to throw in a true freshman that could use a year or two to mature physically when there is an extremely talented, maybe more so than any quarterback at NT in a long time, returning starter that could break every passing record in the NT record books. I am also a huge Riley fan, but IMHO, redshirting Riley and creating some space, eligibility wise, between he and Vizza is the best thing to do for this program.
  17. Are those metal bleachers? They'll never sell those seats! Seriously, I would love to see our new stadium be similar to this, as in how close the seats are to the field. Other than the seats beneath the upper deck, the Cotton Bowl is a great design.
  18. Now I've seen lots of "plate covers" with out of state schools on them, but not state issued license plates. This is probably what you've seen.
  19. Please elaborate.
  20. TxDot doesn't offer specialty plates for out of state universities. LSU is petitioning to be the first. Universities Currently Offered
  21. Why? Why would Vizza transfer and why would you not want 4 years out of Vizza? How would the idea of Vizza transferring or being number 2 behind Riley be the best case scenario for all parties involved? IF, and I capitalized it on purpose, Riley beats out Vizza, then so be it, but I'm not convinced Riley is the best of the two at this time. Vizza is one hell of a QB and could turn out to be one of the best ever at NT.
  22. Not in Texas. LSU would be the first, although Arkansas is trying to do the same.
  23. She was the #4 ranked player in the state. If that doesn't convince you, then I give up. Besides, a new coach came to UT last year and maybe her style doesn't fit Hughes' style. Either way, this is a great committment.
