  1. A guess or do you know something?
  2. I don't know if you realize this, or not, but SMU has their season ticket packages up and ready for next year.
  3. I thought it showed the GB logo and a NY/Cowboys logo. If it was what you said, then that is poor work by Fox.
  4. MeanGreenBlog
  5. PM Harry for access.
  6. No, just other team's fans that choose to come on a thread about the Cowboys and talk trash. Typical of a fan with a man crush on Billy Kilmer. Class? Kilmer or Staubach? Class? Theismann or Staubach/Aikman? Class? Riggins or Dorsett/Smith? Class? George Allen or Tom Landry? Try again.
  7. 1. Ware's offside penalty to keep the Giants 1st drive going resulting in a TD. 2. 20 play drive lasting almost the entire 2nd quarter, and the defense gives up a last minute drive to tie. 3. Allowing about 8 yards a rush on first down consistently. 4. Owen's drops. 5. Crayton's drops. 6. Poor tackling on special teams resulting in long returns, especially the one by McQuarters. 7. Romo throwing the ball to then endzone about three times, going for the home run, when a 10 yard pickup would be the smart thing to look for. 8. Too many bad penalties. 9. Roy Williams is slow. 10. Romo's two sacks where he had time and was in position to throw it away. 11. Romo's intential grounding when he wasn't pressured, could have waited longer for a receiver to come open or could have run with it. 12. The coaches not sticking to what worked in the first half and abandoning the run in the second half. 13. As TO said, and I don't agree with him much, in the post game news conference, this was a team loss. 14. Beating any team three times in one year is tough, but Dallas has much more talent than NY. NY had a great game plan and were prepared, something the Cowboys didn't seem to have.
  8. Anyone have any stats on Royce Hill? I didn't realize we were recruiting him as he hasn't been listed as a prospect anywhere.
  9. Was one of these "two coaches" Jennings?
  10. True, but that doesn't surprise me.
  11. Crap....DD returns! That could be the marketing catch...okay, not really And yes, this will kick a$$
  12. 1. Butch LaCroix resigns as CB coach. (Hated to lose him, but, IMHO, I don't think his heart is in coaching anymore) 2. Mendoza is let go as DC. 3. Only one position is posted as open on the UNT.edu website. 4. Dorrell is fired at UCLA with DeLoach on staff as secondary coach. 5. Neuhisel (sp?) is hired, and hires a young "up and comer" from USC to coach the secondary. 6. Dodge interviews DeLoach. 7. DeLoach is stated to be "heading back to Texas." 8. DeLoach, connecting this back to #3 above, was secondary coach at UNT prior to becoming DC. Kept secondary duties when elevated to DC, and UNT just so happens to currently need a DC and secondary coach. If he's not coming back, I'll be shocked! If this is happening, then I have never been this excited about NT football.
  13. That would have been two years ago that we went with the all black "Original Longest Yard" look. Edit: I was connecting your comments above to CBL's regarding football. Forgot we wore the black Bball uni's last year.
  14. Thought about changing your name to DallasBlue, or DallasPonyUp? BTW, your reasoning makes no sense.
  15. I would recommend checking with TCU or UT to see who did their stadiums. I'm not sure what stadiums still use natural grass fields, but any of these should be able to provide information. At least it would be worth a shot.
  16. Loop 288 is not a city/county road. It is a state road and the improvements are state funded. The state is who to look for to place blame in that mess.
  17. Vito mentioned them, the black uniforms, in his blog. Must be new.
  18. Let the anger go. It seems that the bully from your childhood matured and moved on. It might be helpful for you to do the same. You've let other's past actions turn you into the type of person you hated as a child. Wanting to "tear off his lower jaw and beat him to death with it" is disturbing.
  19. I edited my original post, but this was for a position in Athletics Development. I was curious if one of the staff had left, or if this was an additional position.
  20. www.unt.edu Bad link. I was trying to link the job description page. It is for a position in Development/Fundraising for Athletics
  21. Couldn't agree more. He still sits on the front row of, I think Section D, the upper level. Coach Bahnsen played for Kansas City in the NFL briefly and was the JV coach, I believe, when Haynes and King broke the color barrier at NT in the late 50's. Super person, but you are right, he was never the AD.
  22. I don't think Mandy was responsible for the donations from Mac, Warnach and the Goldfields or the other bigger donations. Seems the development officers in the AD secure these. Mandy just pisses off the Mean Green Club members.
