  1. Glad to see June has mastered reading cue cards. Listening to him makes me sleepy.
  2. Womens' Softball Team Loses!
  3. I would recommend icing and elevating that knee.
  4. It's called tailgating for a reason. I remember pulling in a couple of years ago and most of the empty parking spaces were taken up by folks tents, chairs, grills, etc... I know that the decision to go to "festival parking" was not a popular one and could have been handled better, but they have to plan for the day when the parking lot will be consistently full. Now, I do think that you should be able to use as many spaces as you have passes for.
  5. Mean Joe stole my Coke and drank it when I was a kid.
  6. I like the ad for the suction cup koozie. It states that it has been tested up to 85 mph, yet one of the koozies in the picture has fallen over. They must have hired the moron that put together the ad in the old North Texan magazine regarding the football season and tailgating with a truck with a longhorn sticker on it.
  7. That, and it allows him to become comfortable in the college gameday setting in places like Minihatten and Baton Rouge and experience the speed of the game from the sideline.
  8. A for that tailgating friend of the fairer sex!
  9. Great looking poster, but why is the Arkansas State game not listed?
  10. True, but TTech's OL set up with huge gaps to help spread the field. Correct me if I am wrong, but Dodge's offense does not utilize that wide of splits between the linemen.
  11. "Mount Rushmore" would be for historical significance, not based on who you saw play. I never saw Ty Cobb play baseball, but I would be comfortable saying he was one of the best ever.
  12. Well, considering TCU plays six road games, with one being 30 miles to SMU, to our seven, I would say there is additional travel expense in the MWC.
  13. How in the world do you all put DD on the list? His overall record is horrendous. He doesn't even come close to Mitchell or Fry.
  14. The Houston Chronicle had a brief article stating Houston's athletic Mt. Rushmore would be: Hakeem Olajuwan, Nolan Ryan, Craig Biggio and Earl Campbell. This got me to thinking about NT's Mt. Rushmore. Who would you pick? Me: Abner Haynes Joe Greene Odus Mitchell Joe Hamilton I debated a few others such as Hayden Fry and Don January. Fry would be easily recognizable, but I think Mitchell did more considering he recruited players of color long before the SWC and had quite a bit of success in the late 60's. I also chose Joe Hamilton to represent something other than football. There should be some great names on this list. I look forward to everyone's input.
  15. Corey Adams Fred Savage
  16. Yes, especially considering he will be protecting Vizza's blinde side.
  17. Smitty, DD was wrong when he called you, as a fan, a MFer. You are a bad Mo-Fo!
  18. Meangreensports.com Don't think I ever remember fall practice with temps in the 80's and rain.
  19. I don't think this is accurate.
  20. Yep, that's it.
  21. yahoo.com Putin's going to end up starting WWIII
  22. Walk-on RB from Sanger. Supposedly a James Mitchell starter kit.
