  1. Don't mess with the Pizza Inn Nazi!
  2. That should be easy enough considering this was done for Slinker for how many years?
  3. Sam Houston has a good program with a great coach. NT better not look past them or they'll have 2 loses before they know it.
  4. Shouldn't this post require one of these?
  5. I did. They have some pretty big boys on the OL. Besides, Deloach should be able to recruit our defensive help with his track record.
  6. Not really. It's only one year.
  7. They make our jerseys, don't they? Would that not be the EXACT Kelly green color?
  8. Really? What's your source and what are you alluding to?
  9. Dump UA and go with another vendor. Let me guess, wearing UA was a stipulation of Dodge's since that is what his previous team wore.
  10. And a urinal. Don't think they have indoor plumbing in Monroe.
  11. Me too, although I don't recall my first sentence. I think it was something along the lines of, "Wow, look at Farah's nips!"
  12. What is the difference between an ad impression and a click-through?
  13. Not a chance RV fires Dodge at the end of this season.
  14. Why not promote Deloach if you are after a defensive guy? And I'm in the camp that says give Dodge a year or two more.
  15. You might also add pictures/links to the following new facilities at North Texas: Women's Softball Stadium Women's Soccer Stadium Women's Volleyball Stadium (renovated) Women's Locker Rooms, indoor batting cages, academic support, etc.... since she thinks money should be spent on women's facilities. P.S. I approve of all of the above facilities and think our women's sports deserve the best facilities possible also. Oh, and Quoner, just because you choose not to listen to "The Ranch" doesn't mean other students don't.
  16. Really? Then where did the coaching staff get their green shirts? I'm beginning to wonder if this UA deal is worth the hassle. We should go with a vendor that wants to serve North Texas, not the other way around.
  17. While I respect your opinion, I would argue a few of your points. "I have heard the entire coaching staff appears to be in over its head." Have to disagree. Leftwich and Deloach have been around the college game for a long time and have been very successful. Also, Carlton Buckels, Shelton Gandy and Chuck Peterson have coached the collegiate game at various levels. It appears that Drake is struggling mightly with Special Teams and Defensive Line. The coaches have decided to play many freshmen, RS freshmen and sophmores, for whatever reason, and these young men are learning the game. And while the talent level is not very high-there is certainly enough talent there to win 2-3 ballgames. I believe the talent is there as noted by the last two recruiting classes. Dodge has chosen to player many of the young men from these classes and all would agree that these were two of the more highly rated classes to sign with North Texas in some time. The game needs to "slow down" for them and it will with experience. Announcers during the UT/OU game mentioned that this has finally occurred for Colt McCoy this year, his Jr. season, at look at his performance. NT needs to HEAVILY recruit JUCO defensive players as well as OLineman. Dodge needs to be contacting them now. He is. And the recruiting consequences after this week could be, sign with us, get a chance to compete immediately for playing time, and finish your career in a new stadium.
  18. Would be nice if the Cowboys had Cobbs now.
  19. Excellent post.
  20. That is where I played as a 15/16 year old in the Denton Boys Baseball League, and yes, that is where NT played their games.
  21. I am a Sigma Chi alumni, but all Fraternities and Sororities need to understand the importance of this vote. Nothing brings your alumni and their money back like football games and Homecoming. This vote is not only important for the university, but the entire Greek system. (and Tastey's family) To clarify what the above means, since I was rushing posting from my Blackberry, nothing brings alumni together like a football weekend. These alumni arrive on campus and are ripe for the picking by the university, the alumni's departments and the alumni's, if they were in the Greek system, Greek organization. Many alumni would never step foot on campus without the football games. Just as the Rice Athletic Director stated in their football program, going to the New Orleans Bowl allowed Rice to have the largest off-campus gathering of alumni in Rice history and has allowed Rice to raise $72 million for athletics and even more for the university. Yes, this is little ol' Rice of academic acclaim.
  22. When does voting end?
  23. Riley took one snap on an ill-fated trick play.
