  1. Still waiting for TFLF to reply.
  2. Please define. I think I know what you mean, but your avatar has me confused it might mean something totally opposite.
  3. Look about half way down when Vito mentions recruiting. They breakdown the JUCO positions they are targeting
  4. Stickler was a senior this year and is out of eligibility.
  5. Be careful, TFLF will call you a Dodge suck up.
  6. Gee, I noticed you chose not to reply to my comments about Robinson or Chizic that were hired for much more than Dodge or the new coach at Wyoming. Assistants are never a sure thing at any level. Some are just not cut out to be the head coach. The examples are everywhere. Of course your total disdain for Dodge would never allow you to give him any credit or allow you to ever acknowledge the situation he inherited. Your only strength is your professional training to argue at all costs and your proficiency at name calling. Why don't you go restart the fire Dodge website and talk to yourself? Oh, that's right, you couldn't resort to calling anyone suck ups when the other 1 or 2 posters agree with you.
  7. Someday, I hope you realize the situation Dodge stepped in to and give the man a chance to succeed with his players that are juniors and seniors instead of freshmen and sophmores. The man going to Wyoming has done absolutely nothing to this point and could be a total failure. Just look at Syracuse. BCS school with a history of success, hires a BCS coordinator from a successful program and is looking for another coach now. How many years was Robinson given to succeed there? You telling me that Dodge shouldn't be given the same amount of time considering the situation that he inherited at NT? What about Chizic at Iowa State? You should pull your head out and realize the state of the NT program that Dodge was given to work with.
  8. Well, I respect his dedication to the program for the last few years, but I really don't recall him playing too much. I think he was cursed with being a tad undersized. I wish him nothing but the best, along with Mr. Davidson. This will open up a few more scholarships for this year. How many scholarships are we going to be able to offer this year?
  9. I would love to state my true feelings, but I don't care to get suspended from the board again. DD's Utah State offense had the following this year: 288 points 209 1st downs 2358 passing yards 342 attempts 193 completions 16 TD's 14 interceptions TD's North Texas offense had the following: 240 points 247 1st downs 2822 passing yards 513 attempts 317 completions 15 TD's 17 interceptions North Texas gained 4,356 total yards this year (rushing + passing) while USU gained 4,015. USU outscored NT by 48 points and NT outgained USU by 341 yards. Seems like a wash to me. Plus DD allowed his offensive coordinator to attack a fan in the stands without any repercussions, allowed the same coach to attack another coach at halftime in front of the team and still did nothing. The same coach didn't recruit his area at all resulting in poor relationships with the area's HS coaches. DD had one or two good recruiting classes that led to his successful run in the Sun Belt. Care to look at Dickey's record his first few years here? I seem to remember NT being 0-5 and people calling for his head before the 26 game winning streak happened. Did DD capitalize on this success by increasing recruiting? No. Dodge's 2008 signing class was rated higher than any of DD's and was ranked as one of the top "mid-major" classes in the nation last year. For someone that claims to use his brain when assessing the current situation, you sure turn a blind eye to many facts. Then again, lawyers are trained to do that.
  10. Rose was flagged more than once, actually twice on the last drive. They, the official scorer, only records accepted penalties. He was flagged for holding on the first down play from ASU's 41 yard line that wiped out a pass completion resulting in 1st and 20. Vizza was then sacked for the only time in the game on our 3rd and 14 play resulting in a 7 yard loss. He was then flagged on our last offensive play of the game for holding, twice in one drive, which was declined due to ASU intercepting the "Hail Mary" throw to Stickler. Seems to me he accounted for one of our two penalties and was on the line that gave up the only sack of the game. Rose didn't start the game and the participation report doesn't state how much each player played, so I have no way of knowing since I didn't stare at the OL all game. I don't like calling any of the players out negatively, but I am in this case to point out your bias against Dodge and the players he chose to play against ASU. I salute every senior on the team this year and thank them for their contribution to the program. Rose had a fine career considering he was moved around by both Dickey and Dodge, which is a testament to his versatility. I wish him nothing but the best in the future.
  11. He is listed as a Jr. Did he redshirt and will graduate on time and decide not to return?
  12. This was my nephew's first NT game to attend, so I purposely didn't tell him about Boomer We sat on the student side pretty much in the "line of fire" and I laughed every time it went off. I thought he might need some toilet paper at halftime. Great job.
  13. On top of that, Cincinnati has played their 4th string QB for the majority of the season. Very impressive job by the Bearcats.
  14. Since when did that become too big for DT?
  15. You are right, they don't mean a thing. The real results won't be known until they are Jr's or Sr's, but nobody wants to let these young men develop. I noticed TFLF didn't reply to the fact that the OL he mentioned was flagged for holding a number of times, but it doesn't matter to TFLF because he's our resident expert.
  16. TFLF, how do you explain NT's 2008 recruiting n being ranked one of the top by a "mid-major" and better than TCU and others?
  17. The squin kick was a horrible decision. Why in the world was this even considered with that wind out our back? We would have been better off kicking it out of bounds, but instead we give them a short field and 3 points, thanks to a good stand by our defense. The officiating was an embarrasment with bad calls both ways. Some changes to the coaching staff must occur immediately. Great effort by our players today. I wouldn't have been near as critical throughout this season if the team would have appeared this motivated and prepared. I'm excited about many of our freshman's futures including Williams, Hill, Cook, Shorter, Dunbar, etc..., plus it was good to hear Draylon Ross's name called a number of times. How many sacks did we end up with?
  18. Good game and I agree with your post. I just wish that they would have played that way all year.
  19. I was there, sat on the student side, and never saw anyone selling programs nor was not aware of the insert. I would have like to have seen it.
  20. NM
  21. Wish I was going, but I will be in Denton visiting family and am going to the FB game.
  22. Thanks for the updates. I don't have any way to listen to the game as I am at my inlaws. How's attendance?
  23. It is confirmed, you are officially a moron! I'm not kidding, you are.
  24. Dana Holgerson, OC @ Houston. A Leach disciple. Dodge should step down, but I'm afraid his ego won't let him.
  25. I would make the assumption that based on the coaches showing them around that they were either RB's or WR's.
