I completely agree. I think that maybe we need to be careful about the negative posts because other people read these ( which I'm pretty sure would include current athletes and prospective athletes). I'm sure that these sorts of posts don't help teams in any positive way. Maybe someone should start a topic regarding the new turn the team will be taking with a new coach and basically new team.

do you think that RV will look more locally versus nationally for a HC? wouldn't someone with HC coaching experience be more qualified than a JuCo coach?

No, I don't work at Goldfield. I was just curious about possibly taking some tennis clinics there.

thank you for that post... 4 and 6 definitely were the strongest. a lot of teams win their matches in the lower line-up and with the doubles point.

Oh, I meant to ask you... how do you know another player is leaving? You mean, the senior is leaving?

thanks for your thoughts, you have some interesting points. I don't mean this to come out the wrong way, but you don't really sound like a fan of this team. You kinda bash the team a lot. My girlfriend lives with two of the players so I hear a lot about the team from her and it just sounds like there's a lot more to it than what you see on the outside.

so what do you think is the primary problem with the team this year and what do you think will be the most prominent problem with the team next year?? what are your ideas on recruiting and the current team members' strength and weaknesses? Sorry for all the questions, I'm just now getting into college tennis.

You mentioned that you had coached before. If you don't mind my asking where did you coach and why aren't you still coaching? If you were 21 in 1999 where did you coach against DP?

Well, I read your post comparing the NT team to the DU team when they both had new head coaches and I may be wrong about this but i don't agree with your comparison. The only similarity I see between the two programs is that they both got new head coaches that year. I mean, DU was already established as a strong team all around. NT was not as strong as DU. I'm talking about rankings and performance history. Just because NT lost to DU in a close match doesn't meant that NT was on par with DU. Any team can get to a 4-3 match against any other team on any given day. You said you are a stats nerd but just out of curiosity, have you ever been to a match?

How do you guys know all of this stuff?? the tennis team definitely struggled this year. I mean, 5-16? or whatever their record was this year. That's horrible. I heard they had a lot of injuries though. But I mean, don't other teams have injuries??
