at least we can prepare for next weeks game with a win under our belt. when you can say the same please do so. what is NT record now since last year. 2-10 I do believe.

Thanks for understanding my point. I know Texas is a good team, but come on. most of the time the guy with the ball was in the open field with 3 NT player standing around him just watch as he flew by. They didn't even make an effort to tackle. Even ESPN was talking about it today. They were pointing out where tackles should have been made and NT players were standing there lost in space. Guess they thought it was a basketball game and didn't want to foul out.

The AD told the students at the Order of The Tribe that they could tear down the goalpost if we won. I was there and heard it with my own ears. I don't need a news press telling me what he said.

seen some replays from the NT- Texas game and your guys looked to scared to tackle anybody. they were standing around watching the guy with the ball run past them.

ASU students were told by the AD that if we won the game to tear down the goalposts. we have purchased new goalpost for $9,000. Our AD want to test them to see if the new breakaway goals would work. obviously they didn't. Anyways, this is the most excited our students and fans have been for a long time. let them have fun and injoy any win we get. 1-0 baby!

You might make alot more money by winning games.

1. ASU is picked low in the conference every year. 2. everyone expects UNT to return to there winning ways again. 3. ULL is picked first on the way they ended the season last year. 4. Troy is a favorite of every writer because they beat some good teams 2 years ago. 5. MTSU gets no respect because they always finish lower than expected. 6. FIU gets picked over Fau because of the way they ended there season. 7. FAU has a good coach, but lack the players. 8. no one expects ULM to supprise anyone this year. this is also my finishing order. I do believe that two teams make a bowl this year, also atleast 3 teams finish with a .500 record this years. Mark my words!

saragins is full of it. I don't even know how they come up with half there stuff. Nt isn't even 119 out of 119 D1 schools. I say NT is at least 103. The belt needs to schedule teams like Rice, SMU, and Buffalo instead of Texas, LSU, and Auburn. We need to beat lower D1 teams and make our way up. If we beat lower D1 team we would not be at the bottom of the rankings( they would).

there are 119 D1A fottball schools. before you speak know your stuff. The SUNBELT needs 1 more football member and it should be WKU. one more member would give us 4 home and 4 road conf. games every year.

HEY Quoner! you make fun of some one for having the wrong team in a conf. Didn't you know that ARMY isn't in CUSA. they are an indy.

ULM isn't named after a bird they are named after a WW2 plane, but i do believe NT is the one named after a bird. what is up with the green eagle. never saw one of those before.

MTSU AND NT are last in softball. 2.where is NT baseball 3.NT, FAU, and MTSU finished at the bottom in football 4.i won't even mention FIU and FAU mens basketball 1 TROY ranked 29 in baseball and ULL usually rank in baseball and STATE beat ranked KENTUCKY and OLE MISS this year. 2. ULL tied for first in football with ASU and TROY gets big OCC wins in 2004. 3 ULL softball beats ranked teams. 4. ULL basketball finishes seconded in its division. i just don't see where your comming from. you pick 2 teams that are one year from D1AA in football and FAU only plays one sport in the SUNBELT. i did say MTSU could be a part of the teams to help the belt, but they have to step up and play better under there new coach. come on give me something besides populations of cities.

we can trash the sunbelt all we want, but i will tell you what we need to do. We need to get NT, ASU, TROY, and ULL to take control of the Sunbelt. if you think about it these 4 teams have great potential. NT was the leader for 4 straght seasons and got some respect from sports writers. that is why they need to get back on track and get the sports writers talking again. TROY won some big games 2 years ago and gave the Sunbelt 2 bowls for the first time ever. ASU played a good game in last years NO BOWL and got some sports writers thinking twice about there earlier comments. We all know ULL was the hottest team at the end of the season and probably should have been in the NO BOWL and will be a very good team this year. you might even throw MTSU in there if there new coach can get them on the right track. the Florida schools will catch up eventually, but i don't think ULM will ever be as close as they were last year. tell me what you think will get us going in the right direction. do you think these 4 teams can do it or do you think other teams in the conf will.

Not to mention all your "talent" that was recruited after your bowl game appearance have yet to take the field. You are counting your chickens before they hatch. I seriously doubt all your players run a 4.2-4.4 like you have stated many times already. ←

josh williams was freshman all-american in 2004. he didn't play in 2005 cause he got hot headed and was kicked off the team. he is back on the team this year and fighting for his job back. CFN said he might be the best LB in the country. the corner that got burned in the NO Bowl was a true freshman playing do to injuries. we our loaded at corner this year and are 3 deep at all DB positions. this will be the battle of defenses in the SUNBELT this year.

i hope NT comes up with a big year. i would rather us play a good NT team than a down NT team. this way we can measure our teams talent.this shall be a good year in the belt with plenty of good games.

Didn't say we owned the Sunbelt. Just saying other schools in the belt are spending more money and are catching up and passing NT. I also mentioned your FOUR year run. yes NT beat ASU in the past pretty bad as well as other teams in the belt but, not even 4 bowls in a row has boosted your talent as was seen last season. i do believe every team in the belt finished ahead of NT except FAU which was new to the conference. Yes streaks do get broken, but they usually end with 1 loss not with 5.

ARK. STATE had its best recruiting class this year after going to the NO BOWL. NT went four years in a roll and i haven't seen any benefits in recruiting. i guees it could be the money spent on recruiting is next to last in the conf. what i am saying is don't blame the sun belt or your coaches for lack of progress. if you want to win you got to spend the money.

you don't get the point. the WAC is falling apart. to much travel cost and not enough attendance at games. i wouldn't be suprised to see LA Tech wanting to come to the Sun Belt in a couple years. if any Sun Belt team wants to move on to another conf. i would pick Conf. USA. we are getting more competetive with each other and making the conf stronger as a whole. all we have to do is start winning OOC games. remember we are still a young conf.

looks good, just one little problem. ULM will have a diferent logo on there helmet soon. they are the warhawks now.

New Mexico st. Utah st. Idaho these are old Sun Belt teams that team still in the Sun Belt beat. they have low attendance and are ranked lower than any Sun Belt team. San Jose st. may lose its football program if it doesn't start winning games real soon. Hawaii who wants to spend the money to travel to hawaii every other year. LA Tech Nevada one step above sun belt teams Boise st. Fresno st. two very good teams that will leave the WAC as soon as they get an offer from a BCS conf. tell me what is so good about the WAC besides FRESNO AND BOISE. the rest of the teams are as low as the SUN BELT TEAMS.

Anyways, you are welcome to tell us how to run our program once you guys have figured out how to win 3 more conference titles- outright. Until then, I suggest you start thinking about how you are going to cope with losing to the "underachievers" and their "thick-headed, negative fans" next year. viva la sunbelt ←
