Allow me to get on my soap box on the Rangers for a moment. After seeing Mark Buehrle no-hit the Rangers tonight, one could see the inconsistency of the current Ranger line-up. Will it take some time for them to mesh? Texasrangers.com quoted Mark Teixeira as saying "It usually takes me longer to get going because I'm a switch-hitting power hitter. Switch-hitting power hitters usually take longer. It'll take me a few more at-bats to get comfortable." He has no excuses in my book. Other than that, the only bright spot on offense is Kinsler. On the subject of pitching, besides Padilla (and of course Millwood tonight), the rest of the staff looks ok. So my question is this: Is this the year, or is this just going to be another year of floundering in the basement of the AL West?

That being said, would USA promote from within to replace Pelfrey? Who would be next?
