  1. I, too, am a fan of College Station...got to spend Friday evening and Saturday morning down there and thoroughly enjoyed myself. Great town.
  2. Good stuff Dodge2007!!!
  3. Funny thing is, even after that loss and another to Oregon, Michigan is perfect since! Don't count 'em out!
  4. Conan O'Brian mentioned tonight on his show that one of his favorite phrases is "Jub-Jub" and apparently Joe Buck used those words in one of the World Series' games in Boston... Interesting...veeeeeeeeery interesting.
  5. You gotta agree with Fitzgerald.
  6. Also for the record, Navy got upset by Delaware Saturday, 59-52 to bring them to 4-4 on the year. Still can't hang with 'em though.
  7. I personally love UNT being "under the radar" so-to-speak. No one will be expecting much out of us this season, except for our fans, and I believe this is a good position to be in. CAAAACAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAW!!!
  8. Just gazing at an arial view of Troy's stadium on Google Earth, it looks awesome. Looks like it holds 30k or so. Anybody know what their stadium is like?
  9. A view from a dueling UNT fan and TCU fan. The reason no one is noticing TCU these days is because for one, they aren't winning this year. They're looking at 4 or 5 losses this year and that doesn't equal time in the national spotlight. Another thing is, defence won't garner you attention. My dad and I have gone to many, many TCU games over the last 10 years or so, and we've seen this firsthand. Patterson places such an emphasis on the defensive side of the ball, and the offense doesn't get noticed at all. It makes the games boring most of the time, by the way. That being said, I think the MWC is where TCU needs to be. The MWC gives them a platform in competition, from where the CUSA was at, even though the public won't see most of their games. P.S. That's why I'm glad UNT has a new regime. The offensive scheme is much more exciting.
  10. I tell you what...we better not take the Hilltoppers too lightly this season...they beat MUTS and played Florida tough...I'm sure we'll be ready.
  11. How bad do the Aggies get beat tonight?
  12. Do you mean Strickler??
  13. by Stanford. First time USC has lost in the Coluseum since 2001. How 'bout them apples?
  14. Heck, even Norm Hitzges predicted an NT win by more than 7 points! NT 37 ULL 17
  15. Though it might be just a small win, look at number 8, USU. They are in the same boat we are.
  16. Just my $.02, but I think we've found 2 recievers in Jackson and Fitzgerald.
  17. I have to agree with that. You have to get worse before things get better. Don't give up on your Mean Green. P.S. I saw a shot of FireFightnRick on FSN midway through the 4th quarter! Way to go Rick!
  18. On a far side note (don't get too mad at me!), Young just got voted into the MLB All-Star Game as the 50th guy on the team. Pretty good accomplishment.
  19. I get the feeling that Riley is going to feel trapped here. Seems as though he really wants to go to UT. I guess we'll just have to see how it goes.
  20. Big whoopdie-doo...there's still a bitter taste in our mouths.
  21. Yesssssssssssssssssssssssss!!! It's begun!!!!!
  22. I don't know what to think fellas...looks like history in the making to me.
  23. What a wierd, odd night. Was luckily home during the fracas, but saw all of it on the news. Heard Chopper 5 fly over and rushed outside. Saw the video it took of my neighborhood just south (I live off of Denton Street just west of Carroll) where all of the flooding occured. Strange sight. Also, my folks live in Granbury where the supposed tornado touched down in the subdivision called Pecan Plantation.
