  1. I have a guess of who it is, so I will be sending a letter to their boss tomorrow.
  2. GMG tradish: make two handles. Assume no one will catch you and fail miserably, but still Love the Mean Green forever.
  3. Now we're really getting after it. We should host ESPN First Take together.
  4. My kids read this board and they don't want to hear about you getting a thumb up your butt...unless you have pictures of the girls.
  5. How did A&M's players do? /GMG'd
  6. I don't care about the Cowboys (although prefer to see the local team make good) - I root for a non-Texas team and rarely bring it up. But, big news, I am specifically rooting against *you* this weekend because you are terrible (at least in regards to this crap.) Funny how we rarely heard about the inferiority complex here for years until America's #1 bad boy of in-game cussing showed up and learned us a lesson or two about sports rootin'? I also blame you for Cougar King.
  7. And then the Cardinals, Rams, Panthers, Seahawks and Falcons fans are going to realize this is the rare argument that they can show up to unannounced and just laugh at everyone.
  8. Typical jealous Longhorn fan. Save this posterity.
  9. Because it's more interesting than everyone's thoughts on the Texans and Ags?
  10. NFL Kram? NFL Kram. Also, it's a schedule for human beings, Dan.
  11. I hate the scheduling of the SEC and hope they will address the rotations and playoff partners moving forward. I also hope most of the fanbases within the southeast are fired out of a cannon into the sun, but we don't always get what we want. Meanwhile, only two Big 12 teams finished with fewer than 4 losses and they both get chances to show what they can do against top teams. OU/UT fans I know are fascinated and bitching endlessly, yet K State fans seem to realize, "welp, we lost to Baylor. It sucks, but we get it." If anyone has a gripe out there right now, it's Oregon. Should be a fun game tonight.
  12. They get the benefit of the doubt because they kept winning when it mattered. If OU and Texas had done the same when they had their chances, it would be a Big 12 world right now - and rightfully so. The SEC, thankfully, will not be in this position forever because it is all cyclical anyway. In the last 20 years, Miami, Nebraska, USC and a few others also looked like they would dominate forever.
  13. You can spin any conference's results if you do it right. For example: Texas barely beat Oregon State. Iowa State lost to Tulsa. Tech had to come back to beat a terrible Minnesota team. TCU lost to an MSU team with 3 conference wins. Syracuse hammered WVU. OSU beat arguably the worst team in a bowl this year (sorry Georgia Tech) One game random samples where there is no guarantee both teams care will never prove anything. The best you can do is either look at 3-5 year blocks for trends or wait until we get the real playoff system we all want.
  14. Not that the demand is huge, but my seats will be open tomorrow and Saturday because of a death in the family. Only issue is I can't really deliver them to you, but at the very least, take my seat and fart in it or something once you pay to get in. Here's to a 2-0 weekend.
  15. I saw Derek Harper at a bowling alley once and wouldn't you know it, a few years later, he bought the bowling alley. Larry Brown is being whispered for this job (along with every other name in the world.) Friends with the GM and it would certainly be funny, but very doubtful it happens.
  16. Oh yeah...well, completely agreeing with you is no fun.
  17. Good point. I heard it was the quality of discussion and raising the "tough questions" on Spitblood that turned TCU around, not better leadership or coaches.
  18. Maybe it's an acting class where you pretend your name is Kram and respond to a post to him ? And...scene.
  19. Nothing further enhances the point that everyone posting here has no idea what they are talking about than a fan missing one of the oldest cliched references to a Calipari-coached program and getting butt-hurt about it. Masterfully played, Kram.
  20. It's extremely tough. I can't give my extra ticket away most nights and it's not even 2013. If anyone ever wants to join me, just bring a beer or flask and I'll promise to do the popcorn trick and baby bird you a pretzel.
  21. Stan, I get the frustration, but not sure if it is fair to ding them for not updating on fundraising at this point. What's the marketing: come for the nearly 33% financed upgrades, stay for the perimeter passing? It's a frustrating time, but, as annoyed as I am, I'm trying to at least give myself to mid-January to really pass an official judgment. My last three home games have made that very, very difficult.
  22. If only we had a recent example of WKU firing a basketball coach who wasn't working and finding immediate gains.
  23. I'd kind of expect Skiver to have 3-4 aliases, not just two.
