This poll doesn't go far enough. Who are the upper level cronies? Who should be fired? Who stays? Please see http://www.meangreensports.com/staffdir/ntex-staff-dir.html and update. THIS IS A USEFUL EXERCISE!

It's obviously this, which is why Baylor and TCU can't compete.

DT wishes. He never even replaced Nathan Tune and his dog in the ol' not quite asleep yet in bed mental picture book.

Well that sucks they closed everything around the soccer stadium. It seemed like it was going well... I just moved a few weeks ago, but fingers crossed they turned Holy Grail into a Gymboree and took some dynamite to Mash'd. Moonshine is the devil's drink.

I'm just glad these people had the good sense to wait a year: https://www.google.com/search?q=frisco+murder&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&aq=t&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&client=firefox-a&channel=nts#blessed (I'm just trolling back with no dog in the hunt. I lived in Denton, Plano, Austin and Dallas and enjoyed them all. I also lived in Irving/Las Colinas and the best I can say there is that it made other cities very accessible.)

I'm not disagreeing with the logic behind it, just wondering how much decades of dealing with our leadership and administration might have turned a lot of folks who have a lot of obvious incentives to work with us off and created biases and grudges neither side is working very hard to break down. I'm sure TCU had their share of issues before things took off, and as much as I hate to use them as a flag bearer and point to stamp and whine, they seemed to have figured out how to move forward together with the city.

You're amusing "sane" typo aside, couldn't you flip the argument and ask what UNT has done to merit this mythical tidal wave of support other than exist? Think of the things that made you pull back your support at times (not singling you out as I've done the same even before I moved), multiply them by decades and then maybe that's kind of the answer?

No one seems enthused either - save like 3 people. Half empty/half full(?)

Dallas Stars Hockey 2014-15
Quoner replied to Green Mean's topic in The Eagles Nest (There Should be Pie For Everyone Forum)
Good. He was supposed to serve as a bridge to the young talent that is still not ready, but his play/level of interest never really came back. Moen's a decent big body, but this isn't about adding him at all - it's about making room down the road. -
All essential message board skills. The wireless generation has nothing on the CompuServe generation. Until you boot up with a disc and hear that dial up connection noise over the screams of your best friend, you really have no idea what it means to be part of a real message board. Shameful.

Could Bama beat Akron or Ohio on different weekends? Probably. It's only when you put them back to back like that that you find out really how much iron sharpens iron.

At least we all can agree Irving sucks.

How are you unfamiliar with how a bad team recruits talent at this point?

Rice Owls Are The Best Football Team In Houston
Quoner replied to Harry's topic in Mean Green Football
So when does Rice play the Texans? Can't wait to see all that heart contain Watt and Clowney! -
I agree with Munthe (17 accounts to date) and Kram (10,000+ posts) - the people who comment here often are terrible!

Dallas Stars Hockey 2014-15
Quoner replied to Green Mean's topic in The Eagles Nest (There Should be Pie For Everyone Forum)
Tonight is fun and great and I love our offensive talent, but man...our defensive game blows. If we're going to be a real contender and win a round or 2, that D trade probably has to happen (or some serious young player development.) -
We'll probably never get a TV game again.

McCarney’s candid remarks about the situation at UNT
Quoner replied to Harry's topic in Mean Green Football
Well crap. Our plan to blanket Mexico and take back the fan base from UT has clearly failed if we can't get Houston Galleria name recognition. -
Dallas Stars Hockey 2014-15
Quoner replied to Green Mean's topic in The Eagles Nest (There Should be Pie For Everyone Forum)
Very encouraging for stretches. If you're an optimist, they did that without their big guys really going tonight. If you're a pessimist, they backed off in the third again and kept taking penalties to put them in that position. Like I said before, how consistent can they be and are they going to give away points against the lower rung teams? -

If you had told me 3 years ago we'd be able to skate circles around the Hawks for long stretches, I'd have laughed in your face. They still have a period to play, but I've seen them torn about Chicago so many times in person the last few years that I'm having trouble registering what I'm seeing. The key will be how much we do this to everyone. Also, I'm picking us 4 or 5 and we win a series this year before bowing out to someone in 6 or 7. The gap is closing...rapidly. -
You know my habits so well. This was both fun and depressing to write, btw.

I always thought it was weird we had so many Redskins fans yapping it up on this board. Now it's all starting to make sense - and explains the brief disappearance over the summer.
