Orlando Terrorist Attack
Quoner replied to UNTexas's topic in The Eagles Nest (There Should be Pie For Everyone Forum)
You're assuming it. No one is avoiding it - they are questioning whether that is really the case as they arrange all the evidence, which, I guess using your terms, seems to be getting less heavy by the hour. -
Orlando Terrorist Attack

Agree - and I am hoping stuff gets unearthed. Some of my friends and I send each other stupid snapchats and have conversations in the messenger. If pressed, I have no idea how to recover or display those messages. I've never used a dating app because I just missed that part of the world, but I know for the most part friends who do cannot show me people they saw pics of previously. I have no idea how grindr, beefmaster or whatever hundreds of others are out there work and neither do you. I'm not telling you you are right or wrong, I'm just amazed you've been able to narrow the scope to suit your needs and interests, then scold and demonize anyone else who wants to measure the same. Right now, the scales seem untipped between ISIS mastermind plot master & closeted gay dude who couldn't reconcile Islan, his homosexuality and everything else until he exploded. Both options suck and there's no ribbon or prize for being the most right about either one. -

Doesn't have a screenshot, but does this link help with supporting evidence? http://abcnews.go.com/US/witnesses-orlando-shooter-regular-gay-clubs/story?id=39839464 -

Or maybe the narrative is evolving and not complete yet, but you've reached the destination you want? I mean, what concrete, solid, case-closed evidence do you see in (picking one random link out of the Google results) here: http://www.businessinsider.com/omar-mateen-isis-operations-orlando-2016-6 Also, do you know how dating apps work? Much like when you hear a coworker is on Tinder, it's not as simple as just clicking grindr/unt90 from the world wide web. You have to be a member and geographicall close for a lot of them. If you have a log-in I can borrow, I'd be happy to search on your behalf. Agree with your last point for sure. -

Dumb advice from some moron last year. Everywhere? -
What is his platform? What does he want to discuss? What makes him qualified? Can you give anything about this super secret dude with the solutions to our problems other than he likes stuff?

A 5th media partner is expected to join C-USA
Quoner replied to Harry's topic in Mean Green Football
Excited to see the the launch of Ben's new message board plug-in: "I will paraphrase your joke or restate what you said, but worse." -

redtube? -
Best of luck Anthony, but unless you have access to a SkyHawk, rope, nylon, and magic markers, you're out of luck. On the plus side, he didn't stand outside the last round of the draft with a sign that said "Above the Rest for Thousands Less."

It's Mean Green Night At The Ball Park In Arlington
Quoner replied to FirefightnRick's topic in Mean Green Football
It pays to know people (UNT alums) in high places. Not a hat I plan to wear (bc what life scenario calls for a grown man to wear a two team hat?), but a good add to the memorabilia collection. I think our expectations for FSSW and China's give away cap may have been different. -

The hat is awesome. Hope some of you guys snagged one. -
I argued it was a small drop in getting RV fired and was a misallocation of resources and effort. We've been over this a few times. It's over. It happened. I am also excited to know you don't care about being taken seriously or defending your legacy anymore. That should unclog the board considerably now that RV is gone, right? My hypothetical "they" that doesn't worry you is anyone associated in a formal or informal leadership position with the university, so as long as you're just worried about your buddies you can ease up on the posting, hang out with them at games and not worry too much about going tit for tat for me about this post. This all seems like it will be very easy for you to do, right? It's all over now. Please be real you again. RE THE EDIT: We're all very aware.

Yeah, but they cancelled True Detective Season 3 because it got too up its own butt and redundant. We could only be so lucky

Yes - I see no reason to hold anyone here accountable for frequently saying dumb things or being generally misinformed. /scrolls up Oh. //looks at self, realizes I post here Double oh. One fun side effect of the banner - a handful of you will never be taken seriously by anyone in the school for years - even with a house cleaning. Not saying it's right or wrong, but that's not an easy label to shake and it's why a few people excited about a regime change are going to be bummed when some of this institutional knowledge is passed along by people not even in athletics. I've yet to see a college take its sports message board fans as a group seriously and don't think we're going to become an amazing test case ,but stranger things have happened.
-
Kind of cool to hear the fans turned on the Athletic Director after all the years he spent giving us Sexy Time in the TY/Dodge years.

Ding. I think some of even the maligned names might surprise people in their current roles with a fresh start.

MGB: Some thoughts on where UNT goes from here
Quoner replied to Brett Vito's topic in Mean Green Football
You guys know the new AD is going to roll in people he knows and is comfortable with for some of these key positions and we'll be replacing Southern Miss degree with another college with a strong advanced degree program in sports administration, right? UNT alums are great, but until the school offers an advanced degree in the space, you're going to see most of these jobs requiring an advanced degree that generally comes from people not tied to us - at least for their entire college experience. -
Pretty sure the prophecy was neither can live while the other survives, but will need an Harry Potter fan to confirm. Munthe? You guys are going to die thinking the banner was more than a pebble against the last two full seasons of our major sports and the overall last decade, aren't you?

If the question is "Can Ben Gooding do an algebra word problem and account for unknown variables?", then yes, yes he did. Also, who's starting the GoFundMe to get Lonnie his own Sooners jersey and hat? 90?
