  1. I wish my mom would stick up for me here. Ever since my Dad disowned me and she did nothing things have been rocky...
  2. What a misleading intro...
  3. I'm referring to the Ajekwu fiasco - thread has been rightly deleted. He "broke" the news. Not questioning your facts, Plumm.
  4. KOBE = GOD!!! The Suns ARE awesome. Nash deserved the MVP - he has made many more MVP-like playoff plays than Kobe or Dirk - that's for sure!!!! KOBE KOBE KOBE KOBE KOBE I hope everyone enjoy celebrating the Suns regular season in this thread - it was a great one.
  5. Don't you have another untrue women's basketball rumor to go start somewhere?
  6. Is being a Stars, Astros, and Mean Green fan for the past year like being given a nice big candy bar but then having the guy who hands it to you kick you in the nuts for 6 weeks straight? That's rough man... I feel your pain.
  7. But - the West (top to bottom - not the top teams) was a lot weaker than people realized. Actually, outside of about 5 teams (SA, Dallas, Detroit, Phoenix, Miami - barely) most of the NBA just wasn't that good. Even now we are seeing that Miami and Phx (with injuries) may not be as good as advertised. Denver played in a crummy division and still couldn't win 50. For all we hear about the Cavs bandwagon, the first round is no given. I know we love sports parity, but I for one love that the NBA keeps dynasties together for awhile - gives everyone a target to shoot for. If the Mavs topple SA this year, it will be that much sweeter. Having someone retire or demand a trade to ruin a team is not nearly as satisfying (i.e. the Rockets titles when Jordan took his gambling hiatus.) I think the Clippers playoff standing has as much to do with Cassel and the Wolves, Warriors, and Kings not being as good as advertised as it does as them being a decent team. Its a someone had to move up kind of thing. Dunleavy has been there for awhile - if this was his first year I'd buy it. I think the best job done with the least is probably in Chicago, but that's just my two cents. If you're going to reward the 3 best teams, Avery did it with the fewest all stars and the youngest cast.
  8. He's more of a catcher...
  9. It was more than that - the douches vandalized the entire thing and just slaughtered most of the chickens and other small animals. Comedy at its highest form.
  10. Can we tie this into Tina Slinker's coaching record too - because that was obviously the point. That schedule sucks - poor hooters. Must be quite a nice payday though... PS: Plumm, I hope you see the irony in my accustations of thread hijacking.
  11. That was brave of you to go on the record. We made some progress today. Once you go track, you'll never go back.
  12. We don't need any bandwagon fans like him. You are either for us or against us. You can have your blood money MM!!! Rooting for 2 teams is absurd and dumb.
  13. Mike Man-gina doesn't have arms or legs anymore - he is simply carted onto the filed and misted periodically to prevent his inevitable disolution into 30 some odd yards of hairy peach man-goo. Unless you meant another coach. In that case, carry on.
  14. I could go to Houston INSTEAD of New Orleans? AND Mattress Mac would be involved? Marv Albert says YES! (And then he bites me on the back)
  15. I'm happy to man up to you. Come to my apt
  16. the office guy? you're a douche
  17. Sarcasm and light hearted comments really escape you....like a fat women waving her trophy from the smell contest. Sweet sassy molassey... Doh - harded - nice.
  18. I invented the penetrating worm! Whoopedoo!
  19. Dickey's won more conference titles than Mack Brown, bitch!
  20. Jokes on you - i'm about to get like $50 M from that guy from Africa who PMed me the other day. I've never been so thankful for the civil unrest in Uganda! Any other rich people want my bank information?
  21. Geez, I bought the wrong jersey to wear to class tomorrow - sorry rick. Ithink if we were going to break down what works - maybe look to the game plans that slowed them down - Ohio St perhaps? Longjim - i'm sure you have the season highlight DVD - any thoughts?
  22. Seriously - why would this game plan work? Blitz every down, good idea. Texas will never see this coming. They run a zone read option offense, where the quarterback reads the defensive ends and linebackers during the play and THEN makes a decision. I would imagine with eight in the box, that would make the decision pretty easy. No one in football hits the tight end slant better than Mack Brown's offense. Ask Will Matthews, he's about to be a second round draft pick because of it. Have you seen any other teams run anything close to this against Texas? No, you can't. Has anyone thought this out? It likes when you watch sports with a chick and she messes herself over a reverse for 4 yards or a hail mary throw... what do I know though - you guys are the geniuses, I'm just a troll begging for street cred from the all mighty gods of the board. Last night I sprinkled the blood off the slaughtered goat on my door frame in hopes that my first born would be "passed over" by the powerful dietys that dwell on GMG.com. I would have used a lamb, but they're just too cute.
