Any of you among the 10 people who watched the SBC bball tournament last year know how sweet and clean FIU's stripper dance squad was. Oh geez... Oh geez... No, not cause of them. That weird freaky big guy from UNO - I cannot erase giant big boy george no matter how hard I try.

It was a solid series - and for the second season in the row an upstart southern team beats a beloved Canadian icon. To them, its like how we would feel if the Arizona Cardinals or Atlanta Hawks starting beating the Steelers or Lakers for titles. Good stuff all around.

What examples do you have of schools who ask for advice on their vision statement/major decisions for athletics? If you're going to bitch, then bitch about the fact that we have no agenda or long term plan, but don't think its your job (or anyone's job on here) to make those decisions. If they wanted you as AD, they'll make an offer as soon as Rick catches on somewhere else... I wouldn't man the phone just yet though, but you never know. You seem very capable. You have my vote. Oh, f$$%$, I don't have a vote. This process sucks.

Some of the people on this board just need to bitch - it makes them feel whole. Why do you insist on ending bashing and taking away the only thing these 10 people seem to have to do at weird hours of the day? Thomas was open all of the third because the right people to guard him were in foul trouble and just too many people did not know where to go. Armstrong got lost on 2 of them and then you had the Van Horn factor going. Once the Mavs regained composure and got Howard out on the floor, Thomas never really got a look. You are right though, the beauty of the D'Antoni system is that you never feed the hot hand. Do you think Thomas is so big on protecting his rep because of when he was called a "kitty cat" in the Knicks/Nets series a few years ago? Once a kitty, always a kitty...no matter how fake tough you act.

(hope you watch Family Guy) Dominance is not about strikeouts - otherwise Nolan Ryan was the dominant pitcher in the history of baseball day in and day out. This opens a new can of worms - most moments of individual brilliance or best overall numbers - what's more impressive? Jenny Finch is hotter and therefore number one - no JQ - but she'd do in a pinch. Your pictures did not do the Texas catcher justice either...

I don't know that answer - but I'll tell you who wouldn't have committed troops - Darrell Q. Dickey. He would have told everyone the USA has the worst situation in the world because he works there everyday. Then he only would have won 7 wars (mostly against 3rd world countries) and lost 38 - including some to some nations that used to be the same size as ours. Also, he would not promote the US during peace time or interviews and also not enjoy when message boards made fun of his troops. What an A hole. Did I cover every cliche? Should we bring RV, marketing, and building into this as well? I just want to make sure we take every opportunity possible to take a shot at the man...

And for what its worth, every year I hate seeing Navy line up against Notre Dame. The size of the two lines dictates the outcome everytime, but it is so cool to see the Middies put up what lately has been a pretty strong fight.
