  1. damn straight
  2. Now might be the time to interject my advice: Shoot more treys since we are going to lose anyway.
  3. When did Sally Fields become so cause-oriented? As for your point, allow me to quote Scuba Steve: "Be nicer to the delivery guy. It's not his fault he can't read."
  4. Didn't they have to forfit 2-3 games that year because the Colony head coach turned them in for using an ineligible player who was missing a signature on some transfer paperwork? Was that the same year or after Dodge? I seem to remember a NS team that would have made the playoffs and won 7 or 8 games if that hadn't happened, but I'm not sure of the year and too busy to look it up.
  5. eeally: You forgot Green Grenade II. And hijacking posts can be an art form when bored/drunk enough. Like interpretive dance or a Spandua Ballet album. As for grammar Nazis - no one wants a Rhodes Scholar level of accuracy, but it really doesn't reflect well on the ol' diploma when students and alumns consistently fail to comprehend the basics of the beautiful English language. I screw up all the time, I just edit. I also sanitize and drink my own urine. Finally, don't forget to sport wood for JQ - the man is once in a life time. Aloha and welcome.
  6. Am I the only one alarmed by that?
  7. Everything is happening that needs to happen. Relax. go to it. I'm not even an RV bootlicker like the rest but the right people are being talked to, officially or not. Everyone grab a coke and a smile and shut the f' up (tribute to Eddie Murphy) Oh, and (that's happy face speak for 'hey, look at me!')
  8. I've got a used adult diaper I'd like to throw into the mix.
  9. The first person to complain that we don't shoot enough three point shots.
  10. Ha - you were not who I meant at all and you know it. The enthusiasm all throughout is contagious however.
  11. If he can take tickets, he is already showing the skill set of the greatest AD the school has ever known. What does Parcells know about tailgating? Judging by his physique, a good amount... Parcells for AD!!!!
  12. Our new offense will make sexy time explosion in your hand!!!
  13. A Denton-er, if you will? Our Doner, which we could use more of. Hey, I just wrote next years MGC marketing materials.
  14. We're all going to feel like assholes when it turns out he's some kind of foreign delegate....
  15. I second that. Screw 1 and 2 - who is 4?
  16. If this thread was any more chock full of expert analysis it would explode under the weight of its own accuracy and relevance.
  17. Blah, blah, blah, be nicer to Playmaker. He's people to.
  18. Don't let the man keep you down. Keep it up and keep making plays, Playmaker!
  19. Good times for Aggie fans/Horn haters who like to play bingo: http://blog.kir.com/archives/003633.asp
  20. Wasn't George Mason undefeated last year until they lost to Florida in the NCAA's? Anyone who beat a final four team has to have been AWESOME.
  21. Remember that discussion a few weeks ago about using communications channels and perhaps direct blogs were a more appropriate medium than haphazard message board postings? Me neither, but this is interesting from the DMN colleges blog: Orsini's blog SMU director of athletics Steve Orsini says in his latest blog that people are reading too much into his end-of-year meetings with football coach Phil Bennett. He emphasizes that Bennett is still SMU's coach. It's great that Orsini can use his blog to get his message out there. But until he says that Bennett is coming back next year, I doubt it will do much to stop the speculation. 22. What's her NFL game of the week - 49ers vs. Saints? I think we are starting to isolate the source of the problem - Go Broncos! EDIT: F it I meant the Rams.
  23. I went to a Mavs game recently and heard Everybody Dance Now and some Will Smith crap. Oddly enough, no one in the capacity crowd complained
  24. I try so hard with you nowadays, playmaker, I really do, but I do wonder what you smoke that let's you see the world the way you do. My very first NT game to see in person was A&M/UNT at Texas Stadium and the fans could not have been nicer. At halftime all I heard was what a great job NT was doing and how they hoped the second half would be as good as the first. When in Austin, I had a kid pull up alongside me downtown, wave at the window, and tell me my "community college school" sucks. The obnoxious ones are usually the pieces of (white) trash with no connection to either program who go out and try to cheer double to make up for not having a degree from the school they wanted (see Junior Miller, Corby Davidson.) I have already explained to you how games are won and lost at the line in an earlier post back when we at the peak of our fighting (or as I like to call them, the Vagina Monologues) and I really don't see how you don't think a line that wore down Texas's freaking #1 rush D couldn't break down ours, so let's just look at common opponents - ULLAF and Texas. I won't even run the numbers, but you should give it a try. Now in 3 years with a good coach to build this thing, we should give the Ags a run for their money anytime, any place, but to say what you are saying now just makes it harder to keep an eye out for the good points you are capable of making on the board. A win over the Ags in the new stadium would have no bearing on how overrated they are - that's like saying that Oregon State beating USC this year proved they didn't deserve the title in 2004. That was a bold move of you to tell your friend you thought the Aggies might win this year. You are an American hero. I don't get why you are rooting for OU today either? To spite A&M by knocking Texas out of the Big 12 title and a BCS bowl? That will teach those stupid Ags... Let's just get Pappa Rick V Extra Cheese memorial stadium up and running and then we can focus on consistently climbing over Rice, UTEP, TCU, SMU, and Baylor... then Tech... then the world.
  25. Quite a few Southlake boosters have already said they'd buy tickets and consider NT home games an extension of their Friday nights
