  1. Thanks Hot Carl!
  2. This is awesome. I've been sick of waiting for them to show guys on Cinemax
  3. don't drag me into this to make your post look better... I addressed none of your topics in this thread sir. Call me when you get banned from Ford.
  4. It's true. I know I spent years waiting for a place that wasn't as good as Freebirds and made me crap my pants every time I ate 4 bites of anything on the menu to come along.
  5. Until something shiny happens next week....
  6. Wow, who'd have thought 3 years later the only notable member of that trio would be Manny?
  7. The only strike against Tessie is that it was used in that abortion of a Jimmy Fallon movie a few years ago.
  8. They used this during a basketball game last year for the Krystal's eating contest. It was glorious. Also used in one of the greatest episodes of Southpark ever. "Pueblo es muy mal! Pueblo es no bueno!"
  9. PMG would love it. I don't know what vagsh and knives are, but I think they referenced it in Superbad.
  10. I'll take a thigh and tail pad to go. http://www.herald-dispatch.com/apps/pbcs.d...385/1002/SPORTS
  11. Yup - the White Stripes are pretty "underground." Good music is good music. It's not a singalong. Look at what the Dropkick Murphys have done for Boston.
  12. Welcome to the world of plea bargains. You admit to a lesser charge and cooperate to reduce a sentence. I am shocked and appauled!
  13. New band music costs money
  14. Fun fact: the Toadies bassist took a class from my friend who's an adjunct ad prof here last Spring. They hang out now and he goes backstage to most shows.
  15. When has that ever stopped us?
  16. These are actually decent ideas. Seven Nation Army spliced with Icky Thump could be pretty cool. Right now I think the coolest intro for any game (I attend Texas, A&M and UNT each season) is what A&M is doing. They use that theme from "The Rock" played under decades of highlights of the team, fans and other moments. We don't have enough archived footage for a 5 minute song, but we do have enough where something cool could be made. People just might be confused by the 4,000 different jerseys. You could probably slip in some old Philadelphia Eagles clips and no one would notice.
  17. Johnny Quinn. Oh, it says "down."
  18. Everyone in this thread should go on wheel of fortune.
  19. But was he sober? Cue Hanson supporters in 4, 3, 2..... "He does what he does to get ratings."
  20. Interesting - I don't think this board is the place for this anymore, but your welcome to take it to our site. Greek had some comments going all day. I'm enjoying seeing the different perspectives on this. I was reading an old SI from this year and saw an angry letter from Bill Buckner's wife talking about how she has held her tongue for years but SI crossed the line. It's one of those weird moments where you realize who the person really is. I'd happily apologize to her family and friends if I knew they were offended (and the offending post is gone), but I really don't think an apology is necessary to either side of two schools that make a habit of parodying each other as poor gardeners and elitist rich a-holes. The line was crossed, I was a dick and its over. I think a handful of people are really engaged with this though - you, King, and like two dudes over there seem to be the only ones who really care. I'll just leave my Quoner t-shirt and JQ signed-Jorts in the closet until FAU. I wouldn't want a beatdown from Thaddeus D. Matula or any of the other roughnecks over yonder.... Also, I totally mistook your arrow for something else.
  21. Fixing. giggle.
  22. I'm offended. You don't want to know what they are saying on the Italy board.
