Yes, you can do whatever you want. My complaint is a culture of whining at this school that doesnt help you be taken seriously as you move up the ladder. It plagues DFW as a market, so I guess I shouldn't expect it to end with us. I am just sick of getting mocking emails and comments from friends from other schools who read this board and talk to our fans and cannot believe it is an issue. But people have a right to say whatever they want. Go nuts, everybody, show those refs who is boss.

People were laughed at for saying that last year. And this summer, and again in my head right now.

Sigh- no matter how bad the refs were, can we cut complaining about them to games where we stay within fifty points? I know Rick is not a whiner and is just making points he saw, but we sure have seen a lot of terribly officiated games for our school and others mentioned on this board since the season started. Besides, I think God making them fumble inside the five twice late kind of evens it all out. 66-7 sounds much better than 80-7....wait, no it doesn't...

You doubt our D is worse than last year? That's like saying you doubt KSU beat Texas yesterday. There is no need to debate that we have bottomed out. We have. The question is how to improve things to the point where we can walk away from this seasons with 3-4 wins. There is no need to sit around and debate the degree to which we suck or related factors. What is wrong NOW - and how do we fix it?

What does a non-SBC quick fix even mean? You have to win the Sun Belt to get everything else you are talking about. If this was "doable" and so easy, why aren't we doing it? Are we holding out for that brilliant gameplan we used against OU to beat some BCS schools? Are we saving everything to ambush Arkansas because if we were 2-1 the way we should be they might take us seriously. I understand and agree with the spirit of what you are saying, but rationalizing losing these games as part of a bigger plan is not a plan I want to be a part of. I'm not trying to call you out, but I have enjoyed the way you have rightly taken many to task for rationalizing not winning before - why are you backing off now? Either way, great things are ahead. It's just frustrating to have them slip through our hands right now because of what seems like factors that could be controlled, corrected or accounted for. I still haven't lost my Dodger, though; it's just tucked in my waistband.

Let's face it, the man is on today. And has gone from the bringer of all evil to the voice of reason in just 3 games. What a roller coaster...

Why was Pinkel almost run out of town twice? Why do people around Chase joke about him saving Pinkel's job after two disasters in a row? Why did Dodge have to help tweak his offense? Ask Norv Turner if being a good coordinator and a good college head coach are the same thing. Hell, ask Dodge.

Stats are always the answer. Peyton Manning had great college stats - way better than Tom Brady or Tony Romo. How long will you guys take these posts seriously? ... because I can do this all day

Meager is better than Drew Brees, Rex Grossman, Vince Young, Michael Vick, Jim Drunkenmiller and Steve McNair. Look it up!

They have a horrendous defense and struggle to put teams away if they stop scoring. I really hope we keep the arial success and build our own version of the rest. Chase - and Dodge - have helped a crappy coach like Pinkel keep a pretty good team around him.
