Nope they were twin Colt McCoy supporters - one road, one away. They must have fit in well with the jackasses with the coordinated Texas pull overs and hats by the kids zone. The douche-front was all quiet except for Texas tonight- saw an Aggie hat and something with OU on it.

Be sure to load up your bracket with overrated Big 12 teams - it's a sure-fire recipe for NCAA tournament pool success!

DallasNews.com, "Motorcycle officer killed in Hillary Clinton motorcade crash" http://www.dallasnews.com/sharedcontent/dw...h.196e2bd6.html 10:29 AM CST on Friday, February 22, 2008 A veteran Dallas police officer escorting Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton's entourage to a rally in Oak Cliff lost control of his motorcycle and was killed Friday morning, WFAA-TV reported. The accident happened on the Houston Street viaduct around 9:20 a.m. The Kawasaki 1000 Police Special motorcycle apparently hit a concrete wall. WFAA-TV helicopter pilot Troy Bush, who flew over the scene shortly after the incident, estimated that the officer had been thrown about 20 yards by the impact. The victim was rushed to nearby Methodist Medical Center. The name of the officer, who has been part of the Dallas force since 1988, was not released. Rescue workers attend to a Dallas Police motorcycle officer who was injured while escorting Hilary Clinton's motorcade Friday. "It doesn’t look good," said one unnamed officer at the scene. Chief David Kunkle was seen arriving at the hospital shortly thereafter. Following the rally, Mrs. Clinton said she was "devastated" by the officer's death, and that it was important that Americans respect people in the line of service. "I just want to express our deepest condolences" she said, adding that she was "heartsick for this loss of life." Last year, a police officer was killed while escorting a motorcade for President George W. Bush in Albuquerque, N.M. There was a similar fatal crash involving a presidential motorcade in Hawaii in 2006.

I think Quinn owes Wes Welker, Wayne Chrebet, Brandon Stokely, Ricky Proehl and Joe Jurevicius a debt of thanks because they hustle every play, work hard and always give 110%. That's what i like to see from such a hard working player.

She had green at Baylor in 2004. That's about all I got...

As much as it might hurt to admit it, I've seen it too at the last few b-ball games I attended.

Nah, he's always been a packer in my heart.

Yeah, but we still have this year's exception for a guard and big man. Payton would get the minimum 1.2 and then have $4M for a PJ Brown or something...unless...from ESPN: The Mavericks know they need a size infusion on the front line behind Erick Dampier after surrendering DeSagana Diop in the Jason Kidd deal, and they're exploring a market that features the likes of Diogu and Minnesota's Michael Doleac. But Dallas would seemingly prefer to wait until after the trading deadline, when the pool of available big men could conceivably get deeper after a few player buyouts. The Mavs have two roster spots open and all of their $5.2 million midlevel exception to use to fill them.

I've read this statement 15 times and it makes no sense to me. Help.

I'm glad you brought this up. I've been writing KU madly to challenge them to play us, but they keep blowing me off. We'll own Super Nintendo Chalmers! And yes, I posted this only because I love bringing up Super Nintendo Chalmers.

I hope the team learns that they should have legged out that icing that led to Iginla's goal. That is the shit that kills them every year in the playoffs - just straight hustle-type plays.... -
For anyone who wasn't stupid enough to think this game was a win and it all would click, you saw flashes of how much easier the offense is about to be to Dirk. He dunked a few times and had looks that he used to had to struggle for. Howard and Terry didn't seem to click with what was happening yet, but Dampier was better than expected (I had bet friends he would take a ball to the face before the game was over.) It will take a few weeks for this to get going, and probably this summer to fully compliment it, but you can see the potential underneath the crappy fourth quarter. In the mean time, should we all crap our pants in fear of Kurt Thomas to SA?

I think its time for Mandy to create a handle.

Sigh..... you sound like you got this one.

No announcement yet, but if someone was really astute, they could find a new athletic department job posted on 2/18 and start piecing it together. They'll probably first piece it together the wrong way though...

NO vision is extreme - but there is something lacking in the effort.

Is anyone really surprised? Losing Mr. Frallicks is a swift kick to the nuts. But don't worry, I'm sure everyone will love plan B here...

We could be Belicheck and have our glass empire crumbling around us as the media uncovers a new layer of our sorriness everyday. I think BC's Beanpot title will keep them okay with what's going on with b-ball. Quick - Google Beanpot and learn what it is, Boston Sports Fan!

Sorry to ruin it for you since you love the alleged integrity of everything non-pro, but kids at all levels are - and have been doing the same things for a long time. Before it was "cool" and in the media, my high school had its own infrastructure of steroid dealers and known abusers and everyone turned a blind eye. Several went on to college and one even ended up with a pro team briefly. The sad part is these kids never even received the compensation the pros enjoy and others profited off their choice. Pro athletes don't become spoiled overnight, there is a whole process to lead them to that point that starts at the levels you seem to so lovingly admire and protect.
