So the person who probably complained the most about this bowl was swayed by the reactions of those dirty, no-good, participation trophy-touting youths? +1

My daughter's school seems to be swimming in money as they just cleared more than $35K from a freaking cookie dough fundraiser. Could we do GMG boxtops or hold a few bake sales outside the pit to help some folks out grimacing at these massive ticket prices?

If you're a former athletic director looking to make the most of your buyout of approximately $25,660.40 per month, you could use this to buy 242 sideline reserved tickets or 364 corner seats (yes, we are ignoring taxes on the income and fees on the purchase for this math.) It's a unique way to thank almost every individual donor from the past 16 years of UNT athletics - not to mention a fun chance to play Santa right around the holidays!

If you're like me, you spend your life dripping fluids everywhere you please anyway, so why not make bowl money for it? There is time for 3 plasma donations - which could net you anywhere from $50-110. You probably think this is a setup for me to talk about donating sperm, but, while you can make around $50 per specimen, they don't just take your seed sight unseen. you've got a 6 month testing period before payment, so if you plan on going to a better bowl next year, time to cancel a redtube sesh or two and start making plans. Someone may tell you a payday loan is the way to go, to which any financial adviser will tell you "got for it, it's a great deal, especially if you're Ben Gooding."

To put it in terms teens can understand, this is mowing 3 lawns, providing 5 hours of cheap babysitting or maybe 2 simple weed deals with people in your network. Get on it, people.

It's true - most titans of industry can't afford a PTO day during one of the slowest work weeks of the year.

Who are you arguing with? What do you think is happening?

I know we're 5-7, but you don't have to punish yourself.

Don't see how a generation other than those loathsome millennials could allow this to happen, but would love to be wrong. Probably too busy mourning Castro to even watch today.

All the millennials who created bowl game expansion need to understand this is not how society works.

Definitely see an overreaction to your first post here, but didn't you help make an entire new space for like-minded thinkers only bc some people made you mad?

When Is The Point Of No Return For Benford

Man, amazing how nothing good happens for half a decade or so and you become instantly happier wrapped in the cloak of just 'membering the handful of fun times. I feel like I understand so many of ya'll so much better now.

I saw it twice in this thread alone.

"Nine of the surly cities also scored highly for passionate sports fans, so perhaps that in-your-face enthusiasm is rubbing out-of-towners the wrong way." Travel & Leisure named Providence the best city in America 2 years ago, which was quite a shock to all of us living there at the time. You consistently get baited into this and you're referencing personal historical rivalries you have with multiple in the thread. You really might be the problem here. Alternative solution: screenshot the dumbest stuff you see, text it to a few friends, laugh at it, and move on.

If it's fine, maybe don't shoe horn these posts in every few weeks and let it go?

I just spent a week in Houston. It was fine. Dallas is fine. Living in New England is fine. Traveling to the west coast is fine. Grow up and stop seeing the world through lame sports rivalries.
