I met him and James Neal (among others) at the season ticket holder kickoff. They both could not have been nicer and could tell I was just trying to just keep my head down and get a photo, so they made a point of chatting me up for awhile. It was an awesome experience and they both are "my guys" this season, which to be fair, is a role that has been occupied by everyone from Bill Guerin to Nikko Kapanen. Still it was nice to see them both start well (I went to the opener and Neal was a (to quote the guy quoting Corby next to me) a "grown ass man" all night.

He probably just wanted to go to Pharmacy School.
