  1. You are an adult man with 17,900+ posts of boring, inane obvious points with all the quality of a child pointing out colors as he drives past from a secure carseat. Spare me the holier routine and tell me how you keep the diaper elastic from chafing you when it gets wet. If you can't follow the thread and its contents, no one can help you get there.
  2. When your diaper gets full do you change it or just put another on one over it? You realize the Daily Caller employs the guy who organized the March, right? I know sarcasm delivery hurts you, but maybe it's hard to pick up subtext with all that cold, runny pee.
  3. WOOOHOOOO - we got obvious man and his 18,000 posts to clean up the streets. Drop some knowledge on us, guy who fills his diaper every time he loses his echo chamber (or do you just want threads that mirror your views?)
  4. Linking to the newspaper of the guy who organized the rally is actually fairly hilarious. Please know I appreciate your comedic timing and intentional irony even if those jerk mods don't. You may not find me funny, which is very saddening, but please know you are a constant source of smiles and amusement for me.
  5. Good stuff. See you next week, Lonnie!
  6. @ChristopherRyanWilkes
  7. Thanks bro that means a ton. On the flipside, the only way I'm worried about GM's opinion of me is if through a series of financial mishaps I'm crossing my fingers for that $7K construction loan approval for my new above ground pool in the cool and classy part of Frisco.
  8. My bad. This quote feature is brand new and I'm still learning how it works. Best of luck being a stack of three children in a large suit attempting to pass as a functioning adult and hope you win all your online arguments!
  9. I wouldn't know, but if I accused someone in their late 30s of being a millenial to rationalize myself as death slowly moved into position, I'd not feel better about it. Now please focus on fighting @Ben Gooding before a hip or knee gives out. We're on the same team!
  10. 70 and 50 year old men calling each other millenials is just the absolute best.
  11. Pick a side, coward.
  12. This sentence could replace about 89% of your posts.
  13. It's true - the options are $25K or $100K - not a lot of room in between. Fun project idea: a salary survey of associate AD level employees or pro sports management positions with a decade or so of experience vs. starting positions in a few business concentrations. There are some valid reasons to go into sports as a career, but pay is just not one of them.
  14. I know...if only UNT was able to give her just one paycheck, we could all continue cheering her on and wishing her the best in life instead of doing the "I'm just sayin'" hokey pokey you've perfected to tow the whispered but never fully spoken on the record company lines on certain athletes. No matter how it ended here or anywhere, anyone who ever suited up for this school deserves better.
  15. I'm talking more about the early parts of a career in sports. It's a crowded field that has no incentive to compensate people at lower levels, yet can also demand a masters degree of them at the same time for some unknown reason. It's something I used to argue for in the past and used to think would be a solution, but having people who know how to run a business correctly with a passion for this university seems more important in the long run. I would love to be wrong and see our students take off and kill it in leadership positions across pro, college and minor league sports, but there's a lot of reasons to be skeptical of something this late in the game and with the long-term future of the sports bubble falling into question is all.
  16. Yes - kids getting paid $25K a year to hawk fun packs to a Rough riders game will pack those stands lickety split. Also, are these only undergrad degrees? They are much better off getting a business or communications degree, then going to a real sports management masters program elsewhere to even have a shot (and still make peanuts for a decent amount of time.) I will say this is a great way to take money from people who will wake up around age 30 and second guess everything, which is good hustle for the local teams that need cheap labor and the university that needs more money. It's also a great simple degree to offer student athletes.
  17. Wait - why are we crapping on her at this point? Would things have totally worked out for Peterson if this hadn't gone down this way?
  18. You know what would make these people want to finish the last 15% of the attendance transaction? Yelling at them.
  19. Counterpoint: based on a quick scan of the board right now, we have several high volume posters no one wants to read.
  20. Dear Mr. Gage, We're a super polite and cool fansite that rarely swears and tries our best to respect #football, #ourcountry, and #thelord (not in that order.) Please peruse this forum at your leisure and know we will be with you when you chose to join the mean green. Until then, we carry you closely in our hearts, praying for you to find your path to the light...s of Apogee. Peace and blessings, Mean Green Nation (Your move, @All About UNT)
  21. See you later, McNeese State!
