  1. Some of us have sources inside the White House that we have to protect. I don't want to "out" them, but trust me - good things are in store here!
  2. Predict failure all you want. It'll just be that much sweeter when the economy starts turning around. Results are coming!
  3. Even better - the DMN removed the post entirely. Mike Hindman - a Newberg Report guy - wrote it as a voluntary ombudsman saying that so far both local papers have missed the Donnely, Andruw Jones and Guardado signings before out of town papers as they allow the FWST guys to start handling the daily beat. It's weird that a FWST sports writer would just miss the pulse of a team completely like that and simply rely on spoon-fed information from the PR folks and the people they are comfortable talking to...
  4. Three signings, three out-of-town papers breaking the story. R.I.P. Evan Grant http://rangersblog.dallasnews.com/archives...eriment-in.html
  5. This is Pony Up times eleventy trillion!
  6. Just more unsubstantiated rumors! Get behind Obama and please stop this bickering!
  7. So, if I want to break the news that Todd Dodge is starting a slow pitch softball team that will train by playing soccer at the practice field on weekends while also pursuing a sensibile solution to the bail out crisis, where do I go?
  8. That's a 2-1stretch since this last posted with big wins over NYR and Nashville. The NYR looked pretty, but it was just a team that quit with a backup goalie with the flu. The way the team was able to grind out yesterday in Nashville playing their 4th game in 6 days was much more impressive and bodes well for a schedule that really turns into a grind of travel and back-to-backs in March. They need to pick up probably at least 10 of 14 points at home over the rest of this month (7 home games, 2 road) before a bitch of a March and April.
  9. Look - do you think Colin Powell, an experienced general, leader and politic player, would have endorsed Obama if he was as bad as you guys say? What about Bill Ruckelshaus, Linwood Holton, Jim Leach, William F. buckley's son or Lincoln Chafee? Those guys know a little something about politics and I am going to trust their judgment here. I hope you guys do the same - a positive outlook can transform your day!

    #119 !

They had us at #116 last year, so this just proves these rankings are B.S.!!! http://cfn.scout.com/2/720778.html
  11. I think KU should fire Bill Self because he nearly blew a 30+ lead against UNC in the Final Four last year before winning the game. The KU students were very demoralized to see the game get close and, if the KU AD had any integrity, he would have let an assistant coach the title game against Memphis. Bush league.
  12. They've been big supporters since they got to Denton -- hooray for beef!
  13. As we develop the solid gold content of the offseason, here is an important resource to lean on as we construct our main ideas and pull our thoughts together! It's going to be a blast waiting for next season. GO MEAN GREEN!
  14. OMG - I was joking with people that I would find folks bitching about this game - and POW! here we are. At least no one made any funny hijacks in this thread though - so good things are happening on that front!
  15. How can you make such a personal attack in the middle of a thread!!!? I demand you move this to a new thread and start backing it up with facts, pronto. Look, we've all heard your negativism for the last year and we know how you feel about him. I just don't see how repeating it over and over again is good for you, me, the MG nation, Texas or America! Let's start supporting our president and "get behind" him. It might just lead to some truly great things!
  16. McGwire: Do you want to know the terrifying truth, or do you want to see me sock a few dingers? Crowd: Dingers! Dingers!
  17. I just think we need to be positive here - you should try it. It's amazing what it does for your outlook, disposition and quality of life! If Obama fails down the road, I'll be happy to eat crow, but I think we just need to give him a few more years!
  18. 1. Step one - buy a copy of a John Spoelstra book (Ice to Eskimos or Marketing Outrageously.) His claim to them is marketing a very crappy Nets team. 2. Step two - outline the main points he makes (sell the experience, other opponents, etc.) 3. Step three - realize the team was improving as this all happened 4. Step four - hit yourself in the crotch with a mallet.
  19. Next thing you know, we'll hear rumors and whispers of steroid use at Tech, Nebraska and...GASP...Southlake!
  20. But he's the president and he's ours to support!!!! Obama's forgotten more about politics than you know! What political experience do you have to question him? When it comes to politics, I'm going to trust the guys in the Oval Office every time!
  21. So, you probably think I voted for Obama and don't want to hear what I have to say...but... If Obama is starting off his career as a failure, doesn't he need our support more than ever? Bush left the White House program in shambles and, despite some early accomplishments, had a pretty miserable end run. Won't it take time to recover from that mess? Can we really expect success immediately? The transitions haven't even been completed yet - some o those staffers are still Bush's guys and probably don't even have Barack's back! I just think you have to give Obama a fair shot and support him. We are all members of the United States of America here and that is what counts. Presidents come and go - but we are America! I just think you gotta give the guy four years before you judge him.
  22. Thanks for forsaking me for Big Ben. /Warner'd
  23. Or having a paralyzed friend from a game a few years ago that you won't shut up about? /Chris Drury'd
  24. You can survive anything if you have heart! /Gathers'd
  25. Just don't spend too much time in the sun later. /Stringer'd
