Espn - No Longer Big Six & The Others ?
Quoner replied to MeanGreen61's topic in Mean Green Basketball
I read this in a KSK mailbag and thought it kind of applied: -
I had no idea that winning more games would have that effect. That's a pretty enlightened position I'd like to learn more about. I just wish the team was improving on the court and making plans to play better teams the next few years. That'll be the day, right?

Espn - No Longer Big Six & The Others ?

All a douche is in this case is someone who wears the apparel of a school in the following situations: a.) At a sporting event that does not include their team in any capacity, such as a Rangers game. Because of the need for caps and our jackets, this is now amended to mean someone wearing 2 items supporting that team at an outdoor sporting event in weather conditions. b.) Someone who wears any college apparel to a formal or non-sports-themed social situation, such as a sweatshirt with team emblem to church. c.) The term originally applied only to people who wore the 2005 National Champions Rose Bowl Shirt to Rangers games, and then took on a life of it's own, including when I wore UT apparel and bottles of douche taped to my body for Halloween. Please note that this involved my wife buying me 20 bottles of douche at Target earlier that day -- which I only now recognize as foreshadowing for her fateful green man suit purchase this year. -
Pontzi scheme! Rock me.

Couldn't you argue they are bigger fan of sports because they seek out to see whoever is playing the best and cut ou all the other B.S.? As much as we love to rail on Texas Douche, at least they don't have to spend nights worrying about coaching changes, student fee votes, chancellor decisions and all the other crap we put up with because of where we got a degree. Still, screw them all. They are even establishing a position of strength in Mexico. -

Sounds like my wedding night, but with less crying and an equal to less amount of blood. -
Houston Should Consider Unt's Jones

Real question: did Houston ever replace their AD? Wasn't he retiring? -

Houston Should Consider Unt's Jones

Whatever. He's the biggest media threat our school has faced since the wizards at the Bleacher Report decided to start covering us. -

We probably lost him forever when someone decided to call him a "trader" on ESPNDallas. -
I've heard A&M play it to -- but Texas and K-State really make a big deal of it among their fans when it rings out. Also, Indiana State also loves Wabash. We could open with "Also Sprach Zarathustra" and then set off explosions around the track for the last home game. I think the band should get to musically tear Fouts to pieces, giving us all unique memories regardless of how the game goes.
-
Whatever. I followed the UT band around playing that on a trombone for like 5 hours and one of the guys had the nerve to finally turn around, tell me to shut up and then punch me in the face. Pretty douchey if you ask me. Typical Texas.

I love when people think I get mad about this stuff. It's just a message board, not the bloody Cuban missile crisis. Sometimes a topic starts broad and focuses in. Imagine an anus closing around a rubber fist. You can pry it back open and see what else you can get in there, but why not let the tight seal work for you and go with the flow? It feels better AND no one bleeds. No one will ever out-hijack me.

There was one reference to coke by CBL, and the majority of the discussion has been weed-focused only, until someone threw meth-addicted babies into the argument out of left field. I'll try to stay better educated about meth. I don't read about it and didn't include in the discussion -- I even admitted that in the post. But hey, if they legalize one substance that was illegal others are sure to quickly follow. Look at the avalanche of legalized substances after Prohibition was reversed. This is the basketball thread where you changed the argument 20 times all over again. sorry, but really not interested in playing another round of "super mid-argument debate changer free-for-all with facts I learned or saw that barely connect to what we're talking about but put you on the spot to answer me" with you again. I think you're a good dude and would rather just stop this and keep it that way.

Is it like comparing meth to marijuana? Seriously, why'd you switch up the drug in question? I think most folks are making this a pot issue only. Is there a Mexican meth market brewing because all of Oklahoma, Kansas, Arkansas and Alabama suddenly found new sources of fun? As KRAM said, we tax and control alcohol and cigs despite their destructive tendencies, and we get to tax and benefit from the money. Marijuana is a gray area to me; meth isn't.
