What happened to our West Texas boys. Dodge lost them whne he did not honor a UNT committment. West Texas stills plays football and we should find those players and the coaches that recruitd them. Not TD he is a loser in the West.

Russell is ar La. Tech, doing a heck of job. His SP teams won the Miss. State game for Tech.

If TD would have kept the D staff from lst year and not brought his HS buddies we would have at lest 5 wins today.

I agree fully the University committed. The University and the new staff loose any way you toss it if they dont honor the committment.

The University committed to this young man thru DD. the committment should be honored. If not then we know what we have to deal with the new staff and AD.

Good news for Coach Russell. He and his family are quality folks and are a true loss for the University.

Dodge should keeps Eric Russell, he has been with the university a long time and is well respected by many associated with the program. Matt Simon brought him to UNT and could not pay him for a while so he sleep in the coaches office until he could get on the payroll. His 13 or 14 years should not be overlooked. He wants to be in Denton. Has recruited well in West Texas thru the years and has helped several players off the field when they needs an adult to advise them. I saw several current players parents very emotional after the Monroe game with him and his wife, hoping they would remain with the program.
