  1. Dammit! ANY Game at Apogee is a Good Thing!!! Got off your freaking soap box!
  2. Welcome to Fighting Farmer Friday Night Football @oldguystudent!! Buy one of the stadium seats the Booster Club sells, well worth the investment! You need to sit by the rope/chain dividing the season ticket seats from the General Admission seats.
  3. 1.) Is the location of the New Track Facility still going to be around the Tennis Courts as shown in the Master Plan or are other areas being considered? 1a.) Is there already a budget associated with the Track facility or will that be part of the exploratory committee? 1b.) Will the Track facility be "State of the Art" like Apogee and include Offices for coaches and locker rooms, anything else of note that is being planned? Will the coaches have input into the construction of the facility? 2.) Can he expound on the Softball/Soccer upgrades in a little more detail? 3.) Will a Baseball program come back to being a very near future possibility, now that the accounting issue has been resolved? 3a.) Is the plan for the Softball/Soccer upgrades to still integrate aesthetically with a new Baseball complex? 4.) How is the Golf Training facility progressing? When will the players be able to utilize the facility? 5.) How are we able to provide Students with such inexpensive tickets to the SMU game? Is the cost being underwritten by a specific donation/s? I love that this is happening, just curious as to how since I know the stooges at SMU refused to budge on their ticket prices. 6.) Understand there are a couple of monetary announcements on the horizon, any idea when they might become public? GMG
  4. Is this 100% for sure? If so, there is a reason that this piece of news is much bigger than most think right now! Everyone will know come the start of the season. Welcome Back Zac!!!
  5. This will be happening in the very near future, for HUB Club Members, due to the fact that most of the original Stadium Donations will be paid off within the next year.
  6. Nope, still at Denton. Were you possibly confusing DT with Nathan, but Tune isn't at Celina any longer.
  7. @KRAM1 Serious question, do you have the same problem with those on Academic Scholarships getting full COA instead of just Books, Housing, & Tuition? I know COA is a touchy subject for many a poor student and those on this board, but what non-student athlete is helping make several corporate entities billions of dollars? Not every needy Student Athlete ends of getting Pell or other Grants. I agree a college students ability to budget the check provided by the AD is a personal issue and I don't really see how four guys living in a house can't make it work, just like many of us did back in the day. Although I'm all for Student Athletes getting COA Scholarships, I wish they would tie these to actually requiring the student athlete to live on campus and be part of the University Meal Plans and I don't mean only at North Texas but for everyone getting a COA scholarship. As I've been told, if we can get 100 (I think that was the number) student athletes to buy into the full meal plans, the Victory cafeteria could be focused on providing meals specifically tailored to an athletes nutritional needs. Requiring athletes to live on campus and have a meal plan would give us that added benefit and could help advance our programs.
  8. No such thing as freezing the clock. 5 year clock starts running when player becomes a full time college student.
  9. My answer would be, and was in all of my kids cases, at least one.
  10. Since this kid was SO interested in playing at UNT, how many UNT Camps did he attend?
  11. I voted for Dodge just to see the exploding heads!
  12. What is CK's Waistline-Inseam?
  13. Math Major. Question, no info.
  14. Currently have 2 SMU grads working for me and none above me! :-o ...and I don't allow them to wear pink polos or topsiders so they're like fish out of water but they're still driving daddys BMW to work so it's all good for them.
  15. Nothing says college football like SMU, North Texas, and the Break Room Wrasslin' Match.
  16. Must have caught it during the update. Posts and transitions are now pretty quick. Keep On Truckin! Oops, did I just date myself?

  18. But I have nothing to post.

  21. I've heard Nic Summerfield has taken him under his academic wing, that is a Very Good thing. With Nic's guidance, I have very little doubt that DS will be eligible this Fall. Maybe summer if this isn't also about Academic progression otherwise he will have to get some summer courses completed before Fall Camp.
  22. He'll be competing with a number of other guys in an attempt to get a spot in training camp.
