  1. I guess your keys never stick......OK, maybe not....excuse meeeeeee.
  2. Sure because everyone knows that if a successful D1 coach signs a player that means the kid is a no brainer D1 Starter sure thing. Never has a successful D1 coach signed a flop....You Funny!!! For every success there are 3 misses at any program whether its OU, USC, Miami, and the list goes on and on and on.....
  3. I'm so happy to know that Congress has fixed all of the High Priority problems so that they can now focus on the BCS and a full fledge Playoff System for College Football! I guess I'll book that trip to Cancun and stop worry about loosing my Job, House, Car.....
  4. Thank You....Thank You...Thank You!!! Could not have said it better myself!! Oh and by the way, Gio did not have offers from all of the schools mentioned, he received letters from those schools and very little contact, but thanks for playing!
  5. Just my addition of another possible answer for your original post, nothing more, nothing less. Of course, there have been very few teams in history that were able to win without stopping the other team from scoring a time or two. Things are changing in regards to this and I'm on board 100%!
  6. Get online and ask the Know it all, Negative posters on GMG. Yes I'm back after a extended absence. Sucks to be me, NOT! UNTLifer thanks for keeping my memory alive during my ghost period!
  7. Bologna!! This is not what is heard from the players, new and returning! Majority are on board with TD, yes there are still some whiners around from pre-TD but they are very much in the minority. TD hasn't appointed anyone leader, he's letting that shake out on it's own. Everyone else but TD has appointed Riley the starter, the cream will rise to the top whether it's Riley, Tune, or someone else. I'm not sure why you are so jealous of Riley, during his Southlake years he was not handed the starting job so why do you continually state he has been handed the job here. Shut up and get back to your job of taking out the trash!
  8. He might be able to recruit, THUGS, but he sure the hell can't run a program!! He's an alright coordinator at best. UTSA will be on probation before they even get started. Your crystal ball is cracked!!
  9. Another worthless post by the fake finch, piss off buggar!
  10. Another worthless post by fake finch, kiss off buggar!
  11. AMEN BROTHER!!
  12. Whatever Dude!! Obviously you've got an extreme case of class envy. Since noone has ever associated you with anything worth a crap you wouldn't know why being thought well of would be flattering. What do you expect someone to do when they are mentioned for a job, speak about how much of a disgrace it is to be mentioned in association with xyz, no you show some class and make it seem like it would be a great opportunity and you are flattered to be associated with that particular respectable organization! You've got to go, not Dodge! No matter what you write it is all complete personal opinion and not knowledge. Everyone knows you don't give a crap all you are about is pushing your personal vendetta against another. I guess you could never find you way out of the tunnel. It's ok to fail in life as it is how you come back after failing, you obviously haven't learned that part of life yet. Move on with you life and find something to be that might help someone. I'm sure a coach that was lambasted by folks of your ilk when he required testing last year for recreational drugs is going to look the other way when it is suspected that someone is on the juice. How stupid of a comment. You get better with every post at least in your own mind. With fans like you who needs enemies. Hope to see you getting sued soon!!
  13. If you think Gio was at the top of Dodge's QB recruit list you are a idiot, Gio was the best he was able to get to UNT. Dodge can evaluate talent at the QB position without a doubt but Identifying it isn't the problem, convincing that #1 thru #25 guy to come to your school is the issue. This goes for all positions so get off his butt! You pansies dissing on dodge all the time talk about the talent level and his ability to coach it without even acknowledging the fact that he has to coach the best athletes he can get to UNT. Gio will not play QB at A&M or any other BCS school, mark my words, I doubt that he even progresses past a walkon if he enrolls at a BCS school. Gio performed ok at UNT, not great, and no the problems were not just his but he was part of the problem. I saw lots of improvement between his Freshman and Sophomore years and I attribute at least some of that to Dodge's mentoring. This mess started long before Dodge got to UNT and he is doing what he can to clean up the mess of the previous administration. Get Real, 2 recruiting classes doesn't even get a program started and if you know anything about sports you know these are the facts. Dodge is not a High School coach, he is a DI college head coach, everytime you state otherwise you are knocking your own guys, nice support. I'm not a kool-aid drinker but Dodge played big time college football and knows what it takes to bring this program up from the level it has been for at least the last 4 years. I'm giving him some time and I will support UNT Athletics in mind, action, and money with the hope, and I stress HOPE, that the program advances and everyone should do the same. I do not know if the pessimists on this board were personal friends of DD or just drank his kool-aid. I have great respect for DD and know much about him both past and present but the truth is UNT was falling fast before he left. Dodge couldn't care less about what you negative morons think of him because he knows that is not the meat and potatos of UNT support. You act like you support the program but if your actions are anywhere close to what you message on these boards, your one of the reasons keeping the program down. Grades and character are a starting point and I believe the talent level will be much better this upcoming year. Will it translate to a winning record, don't know but it has happened before. You guys sound like a bunch of spoiled High School brats that aren't getting their way, tough the world isn't made just to make you feel good contrary to your opinion of yourself. Go Mean Green!
  14. There is a scale mockup of the Stadium sitting in the athletic center along with large conceptional pictures. The preliminary stuff looks top notch with the stadium extending east from the current Athletic center towards 35. Players would exit locker room and enter stadium through end zone much like A&M. I'm sure they are working the visable alums but sure wish they would start sending out information and requests for donations. Even though the economy is in the tank, they can never start too soon!! This stadium deal needs to get off the ground now not in a year or two, NOW!
  15. Season's...Try Games. I seem to recall it was something like TD's fourth game when the first call went out for his head. I guess Coker would get a bit more because he is a "College Football Coach".
  16. THought it was free but I can't access without paying.
  17. Yes, this guy was a steal, he flew under radar due to his being trained by his brother, a NFL Punter Prospect, instead of running the "Kicking Camp" circuit. I do know that he was one of the top performers at the "Lone Star Kicking Challenge" which had many of the states and countries top kickers. Although he flew under the radar he was still a 2nd/3rd team All-State Punter and could have been the same on the kicking side but most times a kicker will not be awarded both positions. A&M was very high on him but wanted to delay a scholarship til Spring. Also had serious talks with Iowa State, Utah, Kansas, and many IAA & DII schools but most D1 programs wanted to wait to offer until Spring or after signing day when some scholarships came open due to de-commits. This kid will be able to step in as a freshman and should fill the shoes from last year.
  18. Maybe for once in your life being "IN" on the ground floor of something GREAT!!
  19. Yes, they will be running the blog with signing updates beginning Wednesday morning.
  20. Glad to be aboard! In the process of changing my closet colors to green but expect to be around for awhile! As they say, "I wasn't born Green but I got here as quickly as I could!"
  21. Not sure this will be the case. Words directly from Aaron's mouth were "I'm all about speed, our weight work will be there but my main focus is making our players Faster and Quicker". That was what he said his 3rd day on the job.
