Don't know that Capper thinks he is more knowledgeable, in general, but I'm sure he's a lot closer to "those that are" than the vast majority of us here!

Get ready to be miserable for the next 2 years because the Dodge era will last atleast that long! You bailed from a ship that was just leaving dock and you will regret it. I'll state it again, "Any school, other than the big dogs, take longer than 2 years to get on course when faced with the number of leftover issues this program is having to overcome". Progress will be visable this season even to the most jaded of Mean Green Fans. Well that is for everyone but those with personal vendettas against Dodge. We'll save you a seat for when you decide it's safe to come back onboard!

Be honest why don't you? Your fear is anything that brings Dodge back.

Crabtree Threatens To Sit Out
UNTnewbie replied to NT03's topic in The Eagles Nest (There Should be Pie For Everyone Forum)
Sit out already, lose the 10 Million this year and see how many years it takes for you to recoup that amount with a contract you might sign next year. I know it's just the Agent positioning himself and his client but is there anyway this would make sense? Not in any way, shape, or form. -
Maybe the new punter averages more than a 4.5 second hangtime with a 40+ yd avg.

Thanks for posting the entire text of the Chat!! Greatly Appreciated!!! -
I'm not privy to the exact numbers but word is UNT wants much more than what LISD would consider paying for hosting the game. Much more than what Texas Stadium cost for the previous years Battle of the Axe.

3 Reasons Nt Will Be Significantly Better...

Truman Spencer has been spotted at North Texas. Truman is back for a couple of weeks before reporting back to Training Camp. Looks like his workout buddy is the Atterberry Kid, incoming freshman. Saw them both in the weight room the last couple of days working hard and it appeared Atterberry was keeping up with Truman although it was a Mutt and Jeff picture as Truman dwarfed the new kid. I think Truman has added 20 pounds of muscle since leaving NT, that guy looks like a DE not a kicker! -

I'm sure she'll show up on Letterman in the next week or so, then they both can have a Bush Bash and pat each other on the back. -
Okie State Having Trouble Finishing Athletic Village
UNTnewbie replied to SUMG's topic in Mean Green Football
Got really lucky and got a semi-guided tour of the facility and the pics don't come close to doing justice to the Endzone complex. Locker room is so much better than what OU and TAMU have currently and totally out of TCU, TU, and Baylor's league (those are the only DI complexes I've been lucky enough to checkout personally. Training rooms look more like something from a high end 5-star resort but functional for any and all athletic treatments. One walk through this place and your tune would change no matter how jaded the look. -
Made a trip out to the athletic center today without realizing the Dodge QB/WR Camp was in session but looked like a pretty descent turnout for that affair. Saw several big kids running routes and throwin the pgiskin. More younguns being indoctrinated in the Mean Green Way.

Might want to check out the T Boone Pickens $50 million donation to the UT Southwestern Medical Foundation or the other $50 Million donated to UT M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston both UT branded school and T Boone HATES UT. $25 million to the University of Calgary's Faculty of Medicine, $5-$10 Million to Downtown YMCA, and tens of millions to various organizations related to disadvantaged youth. These are just the few I know off the top of my head, OSU is one of many contributions but one of the few that is athletically related. His wife also made a huge donation to the OSU Vet School which has since be redirected due to a problem Mrs. Pickens had with some of the research going on. The portion of the Pickens donate is a larger percentage of their wealth than Gates and Buffet combined. Yes I'm a OSU and T Boone Fan!! -

Gov shouldn't have done a thing, GM would still have filed, Same results and the prez shouldn't be dictating the hiring and firing of employees at a corporation, PERIOD. THat is the TRUTH! Never said the current admin caused the thing as I don't see it that way, problems started long ago and those in charge are not solving the situation and haven't been for some time. Let the free market dictate, if we end up with, and it kills be to say this, toyota and honda as the big dogs then so be it. They are at least providing jobs in this country now instead of how it was in the '70s....THat is the TRUTH! Don't sit there and say that the GOV didn't want to do this, it played right into our current leader hands and he jumped all over it without thinking, just like everything else that is taking place. If they didn't want to do it then why did they, I haven't seen anyone profess that this is the way it should have gone down except for the chosen one and his minions. There are way to many folks on capitol hill that are responsible and to many pinheads like you drinking the kool-aid. Just cause you didn't agree with the last admin, don't throw the baby out with the bath water. This is not what this country is about and not so deep down you know it but just won't admit it. THat is the TRUTH....But thanks for playing anyway. -

Makes my blood boil and at the same time sends chills down my spine. I'm struggling with how to react to the attack on our nation from within, can we last 4 years until we get a chance to stem the tide or will 4 years be too late to stop the rolling stone from crushing everything this nation was built upon. Will my government representatives take off their blinders and stand up for that percentage of Americans that are not interested in this path. Obama was elected by the majority of voters but does not represent enough of a majority of citizens to be doing all this! Wake up folks and at least voice your concerns to everyone that will listen, especially those that represent us at the highest levels. -
