I heard a while back that ASU used the same internet service to broadcast their games, and MeanGreenSports.com would be able to provide video feed of the game to premium members. I sure hope I heard correctly.

Yes, that play won't work when all the Sunbelt defenses have seen that same play for years. It is one of the 5 plays that we run on a consistant basis. Now, if we had 6 plays we would be an offensive powerhouse

Likewise, everyone in my Sunday morning foursome (ok don't even think about it, I mean golf) heard or read about the OT win and congratulated the Mean Green on the win.

I wasn't particually exicited about the game in general, mainly due to play calling, but more so because I thought our special teams should not have given FIU the great field position once we had the lead. As far as DD's mind set goes, I believe he has told us before. (paraphrase) Keep it close and have a chance to win in the end. He proved it again. Most of the fans around me agreed it was not wise to try a field goal on 2 and 8. Anyway, my legs are tired from walking end to end during the overtime defensive battle, but to witness the grit and determination of both the UNT and FIU defenses made it all worth it. Actually, it is not complicated and it is certainly not a sceme. It is merely a legal vehicle in which the donors would have a say in the direction of the program. If certain conditions were not met "The Corpus of the Trust" would provide for a return of the monies the donors so generously contributed. Any major University would not fall all over themselves for a $200,000.00 donation from anyone. Now, if Quoner could convince GMG.Com to donate $1,000.00 per member /per year, then I would expect them to make a suprise midnight visit to our very own illustrious Quoner.

Now that's a great idea!!!! It, the "Trust" could be set up with the corpus of the trust specific to the creators of the trust. Certain conditions would have to be met before any monies from the trust would be released to the athletic department. The trust could also specify that any monies provided to the trust, by the donors, would be returned to the donors if the conditions set forth in the trust were not met within a certain time frame. I think I'll join you, BleedGreen64, at the NO Bowl to cheer on the conference champ. No matter who they are. It would be great to see thousands ( OK maybe hundreds) of fans from all the Universities in our conference attend. If every school was adequately represented, wouldn't that set some kind of precedent? Of course, I will be wearing green.
