I'm happy for 3-1 with a loss against a P4. But let's be honest, we saw weaknesses in the first 2 that were overwhelmed by the play of our offense, and those weaknesses were on full display at Tech. This win is great. No question about that. But let's not overlook just how bad Wyoming is. Conference time. Just win, baby!

While I like Army and Navy as competition, we NEED to be playing Memphis and Tulane and being in that conversation. There's no world where them going to the PACx and us staying in the AAC is a good thing.

I'd chip in on a "punt or go for it?" choice. Set up competing QR codes on two big screens and the coach has to follow the $$.

I also note the AAC commissioner just coincidently happened to be at UNT today, per a Facebook post by "Mean Green Sports".

If that were the case, why would the 4 MWC teams move to the PACx? Obviously the insiders there know something that isn't obvious on the surface.

Except for the Tech game and UTSA, aren't all this year's UNT games on ESPN+ streaming? Last year was the same, all ESPN+ unless the opponent had a media outlet. I don't see how Apple streaming is different from ESPN+ in terms of practical viewership.

The names have value. Even casual football fans have heard of Tulane and Memphis. One simply can't say the same of Temple or North Texas.

When we were 1-AA, we have to get out of this division When we were independent, we have to get into any conference Guess what -- each of those is correct. And when/if we get to the 2PAC, the immediate plan should be looking for the next bigger better deal. One thing to remember, in each move from Independent to Big West to Sunbelt to CUSA to AAC, in *every* case the teams we expected to play were on their way out. So the EXACT SAME PLAN is working for everyone else.

Tech could have hung a hundred+ on North Texas if they wanted to. In some ways, I wish they would have.
