    Back in my day (insert pic of old man with cane) the Bowl Games were special. Now there's 41 this year. That means 63% of the teams get to go. 6-6 and the Frisco Bowl shouldn't be a stretch goal. EDIT: I did some research. My first year at NTSU (1988), there were 17 NCAA bowl games

    108 years ago today, the North Texas Normal football team took the field for the first time and played TCU. It was a rainy day that obviously helped TCU to a 13-0 final score. North Texas was coached by J.W. Pender and TCU was coached by Fred Cahoon. Here's to 5 fabulous seasons of UNT football!

    In 2018 we were in the "others receiving votes" at 4-0, so I would expect that basically any undefeated team would be in or very near the top 25 at this point in the season.

    We won that game in Austin. I was there. Worst officiating ever.

    It's real hard to get fired up about the Bobcats and Lumberjacks. I fear we'll be seeing a lot of Liberty over the next decade.
