  1. I don’t think we will play football this year and it makes me sad.
  2. That was the first bowl Memphis had been to in 4ever. They went one direction and we in another sadly.
  3. Looks like a very good player!!
  4. He was not offered because of Ernie. He was offered because Seth loves the kid and he’s a winner. He had 8 published offers plus 3 more...he is the only QB ever offered by a Big 10 school that I am aware of. Not to mention he was the 1st team QB for the state of Oklahoma for 2 years. He also won the state championship at Owasso. Also need to be said that Kuehne while not as fast as Bean has very good wheels. Please don’t underestimate this kid he is a winner!
  5. Black received his first Division I offer in basketball from North Texas, but college football programs are also taking notice. Kansas presented him with his first football offer one month after the conclusion of the 2019 season. UNT, Arkansas, Houston, Iowa State, Illinois State, Georgia Tech, Cincinnati and Hawaii have also extended offers to Black. "I never really expected it, but it's a testament to all of the hard work that I've put it in,” Black said. “It's nice to see everything start to pay off." read more: https://starlocalmedia.com/coppellgazette/sports/coppells-black-son-of-baylor-hoops-hall-of-famer-creating-his-own-legacy/article_faf65b66-acc7-11ea-a5aa-0f47643a9720.html
  6. 12. North Texas Mean Green 2019-20: 20-11 (14-4), Conference USA regular season champion Grant McCasland hasn’t wasted any time getting things up and running in Denton. The Mean Green won 20 games for the third straight year, and the 34th-most efficient offense, per KenPom, propelled them to a C-USA title. The biggest revelation was the emergence of Javion Hamlet, who turned out to be one of the best JuCo transfers in the country last season. The guard led the Mean Green in scoring at 14.6 points per game and assists at 4.7. His play earned him C-USA Player of the Year honors, and it’s reasonable to think that he enters next season as one of the frontrunners to take home the award next year. Hamlet will need to be a star again to help pick up some of the slack from the departures of Umoja Gibson (transfer to Oklahoma) and Deng Geu. However, he won’t be alone. The Mean Green bring back four other seniors, including starters James Reese and Zachary Simmons. Thomas Bell also returns after leading the team in rebounds and hitting just under 37 percent from deep coming off the bench. It all runs through Hamlet, though. When he goes, the Mean Green go. Lucky for McCasland, he has one of the best point guards in the country at his disposal. North Texas should be in the top tier of C-USA again. 7. Bussey was a senior entering the 2019 season, but played just two games for the Mean Green due to a knee injury. Playing in less than four games allowed him to redshirt. At Hawaii, he will be a graduate transfer with one season of immediate eligibility. Hawaii enters the 2020 season with a new head coach in Todd Graham. As it stands, the Rainbow Warriors are scheduled to open their 2020 season at Arizona on Aug. 29. 8. They were saying on the news that they are legally allowed to do it. I don't like it but if they want to stop people from doing it they have to change the damn laws.
  9. It's a good question and my guess is we won't know for sure until when they report and perhaps even after that. Not having Spring leaves a lot of these guys in limbo. For instance, at QB there has to be one that leaves after spring training because the writing is on the wall. We didn't have that opportunity with Covid. It could happen anyway but UNT is not going to announce it until they have to.

  11. I think the new line coach will change that.
  12. He blew out hios knee so it may take a couple of years for him to ghet back to where he was.
  13. For me it has to be Kenneth Dotson. He redshirted last year and is listed at 6-3, 257. I seriously doubt he is still at that size. Would like to see him get into the rotation this year. Also Davontae McCrae the juco transfer from Northern Mississippi. . 6-4 250 and can run. He could be a big player for us. I also find Jimmy Walker interesting but he's very young.
  14. Just sawr this today: Seems to me that we have success with transfers like Guyton but we don't do it that often. SMU seems to do it a lot. Should we bring transfers in more?

  16. University of North Texas The University of North Texas is allowing students to apply without an SAT or ACT score. The university will review applications based on GPA, class rank and other academic criteria. For Freshman admission in Fall 2021, the language requiring the submission of ACT/SAT score for students ranking in the top 10% of their high school has been removed. This is under the uniform admission policy. For Fall 2021, standards for full admission have also been modified to include a cumulative high school GPA of 3.0 (unweighted) without the requirement of an SAT or ACT score. read more: https://www.wfaa.com/article/news/education/north-texas-colleges-changes-admission-policies-coronavirus/287-c408a1e7-442e-4287-89f3-e4beface2fd7
