  1. Houston is a final 4 team
  2. WKU is good. They are hanging toe to toe with the #6 team in the nation tonight.
  3. And to piggy back, all of the signings, transfers, offers and personnel moves are being orchestrated by a guy that knows what the F he is doing. Not Reff or Chuck Langston.
  4. Agree
  5. He’s one of us we should try and help him!
  6. I already got it and so did my wife and my girlfriend.
  7. I call BS on this, there are plenty of very successful people including my old boss that do not have the traditionally "successful" degrees. My old boss was a school teacher with an education degree and is now a very highly compensated executive.
  8. Hoping Kane Sweet can put in a good word for us.
  9. UNT: Defensive End - Kameron Hill Seth Littrell’s club are going on their third defensive coordinator in as many seasons. What’s clear is that the Mean Green’s defensive output has been trending in the wrong direction for some time. FCS transfer Kameron Hill found the quarterback 14 times in three seasons at Abilene Christian, including a two-sack performance against North Texas in the 2019 season opener. With the return of stout defensive tackle Dion Novil, Hill may have his share of chances to rush the passer in 2021. read more: https://www.underdogdynasty.com/2021/2/23/22289233/breakout-players-from-each-team-in-conference-usa-2021-cfb-football-ucf-miami-houston
  10. Remember when the Mountaineers suddenly scheduled a game against North Texas in the WVU Coliseum on Dec. 11? Well, now, Marshall is slated to host a two-game series against the Mean Green on Friday (7 p.m.) and Saturday (2 p.m.) in the Cam Henderson Center. That inevitably will lead to plenty of comparing and contrasting. In the earlier contest, the Mountaineers used a strong second half to defeat North Texas, 62-50. But the Mean Green did throw a scare into WVU fans by taking a 29-21 lead into the locker room at halftime. The Mountaineers erased that deficit by out-scoring North Texas, 41-21, in the second half, while also destroying the Conference USA member, 48-32, on the boards. North Texas is a bit under-sized, which helped WVU and also should help Marshall. Besides that, more similarities abound. MU and North Texas are both on three-game winning streaks, plus the Herd has won five of its last six games while the Mean Green has won seven of its last eight. read more: https://www.herald-dispatch.com/sports/chuck-landon-mu-wvu-have-north-texas-in-common/article_fd4470d4-8dd1-53ae-8dd8-9a100a47b67a.html

  11. No. 1, there will be a ton of Kelly green in the Cam Henderson Center. No. 2, there will also be a lot of talent on the basketball floor. North Texas (12-6 overall, 8-2 Conference USA) leads C-USA’s West Division as it gets set for the weekend trip to Huntington. The games are scheduled for 7 p.m. Friday and 2 p.m. Saturday. “Defensively, they are a good team because they play hard and they are going to be physical,” D’Antoni said. “It’s just a good ball club that plays hard — coach has them playing hard — and they ring the basket with four shooters and one guy playing in, like almost everyone does. We saw them last year.” On Monday, North Texas was projected as one of two Conference USA teams to make the NCAA Tournament, according to predictions by CBS Sports’ Jerry Palm, who also had Western Kentucky in the field. read more: https://www.wvgazettemail.com/sports/marshall_university/marshall-basketball-weekend-series-huge-for-marshall-north-texas/article_7adb7198-5da1-5db8-a815-d7402cb8cef8.html
  12. Hell yes! This team is just starting to bond.
  13. This is ok. Shows we are on the right guys. This is good. I think.
  14. Will be missed by many. https://obits.dallasnews.com/amp/obituaries/dallasmorningnews/197815198
  15. Just a first impression, but Jace seems a little bit ruder than some of our other QB's.
  16. Say what you will but OU got the better of the deal. McBride is ok, but Mo is starting for OU now and is a major contributor. I don't think McBride is. He may turn into one but at this point he is not. I just wish our fans would be more realistic about things. There is no shame in admitting losing him to OU hurt us.

  18. No. 27: Kevin Greene, DL, Del City, 6-3, 285: A North Texas signee, Greene used his large frame to be a productive member of the Eagles’ defensive line. LINK: http://oklahoman.com/article/5681656/oklahoma-high-school-football-the-oklahomans-final-2021-super-30-rankings
  19. If they do go down one of those routes then they will upgrade the room, but they would likely have to make another move to really transform their receiving corps into a viable one for the next quarterback, whoever that may be. That leads us to option No. 3, taking another mid-round, high-ceiling player to fit a role that Josh McDaniels has been looking for ever since he arrived back in New England from St. Louis. An offensive weapon, that is where Jaelon Darden comes in. Strengths: I don’t know if people will like this but Jaelon Darden’s biggest strength is being a straight up weapon. The man did it all in his time at North Texas: he lined up in the slot, split out wide, and even was used in the backfield. At his worst, Darden is an extremely talented gadget guy who can make a big play here and there. read more: https://www.patspulpit.com/2021/2/4/22265400/2021-patriots-draft-profile-jaelon-darden-wide-receiver-north-texas
