  1. I spoke to a high school coach that said UNT was very fortunate to land Scott. He was evidently a late bloomer who is every bit now at 6-8 and can run the floor. Scott had a lot of interest from p5s and UNT was able to close on the deal. Keep an eye out as I expect him to help us as a backup to Bell. MOST IMPROVED Aaron Scott, who came into Big Shots Prep Nationals with offers from the likes of Texas State, North Texas, McNeese State, and Pacific. After showcasing his full versatility during the week, Scott is walking away from the event hearing from Iowa State and Mississippi State. Scott is a lengthy skilled forward, who is comfortable toggling between each forward positions. He says he is close to wanting to make a decision; however, these Power Five schools are asking him to wait until they know what their roster will look like next season. Don't be surprised to see more programs like Iowa State and Mississippi State start making calls. read more: https://basketballrecruiting.rivals.com/news/shaw-s-takeaways-big-shots-prep-nationals
  2. Very tough game for us to win this year.
  3. Love me some Santa Fe. Need to get back there soon. Used to ski at Taos back in the day.
  4. Fun video to watch!
  5. I have also seen quite a few club ticket transactions take place here in GMG as well. Usually the week or so before the game.
  6. Not good. Not good at all.
  7. Agree but I feel like Benford was very let down by his top assistant Robb Evan’s who clearly was coasting into retirement when here.
  8. I thought we heard he was moving to defensive end? All the linebackers you list are very small. We need more size against teams like SMU that have big backs.
  9. Yikes! Not a pretty analysis for us in 2021 indeed.
  10. https://www.facebook.com/UNTAlumniAssociation/videos/495974994959542/ shout out for @UNT 90 Grad for finding the link.

  11. How is it possible Javion is not on this list?
  12. Love your optimism and knowledge of the programs. I share in your optimism about the coming seasons for all sports at UNT.

  15. Hedlund has done well but Inalso would like to see him win some bigger non conference opponent games as he finishes out his career.
  16. Having charted a historic season this past year, women’s golf completed a five-year climb from a national ranking in the 200s to winning its second-ever bid to NCAA Regionals. The berth marked women’s golf’s second time making a regional tournament in program history and first as an automatic qualifier after winning the Conference USA title. Junior Audrey Tan took the C-USA individual title in what was also a first for the program. “It’s pretty cool to know we were part of history like that,” Tan said. “Just a bunch of amazing people, an amazing team and I’m so glad I could do this with this amazing bunch of people.” Reaching those milestones was an achievement five years in the making, dating back to head coach Michael Akers’ inaugural season with the program, 2016-17. Akers reached the regional tournament six times in his 10 seasons as Texas State University’s head coach from 2006-2016 before taking over a No. 201-ranked North Texas program. read more: https://www.ntdaily.com/the-womens-golf-teams-surge-to-historic-heights/

  17. I worry that we may wish we had her again. Jalie has really struggled with holding onto players.
