  1. This is the question that everyone wants to know. It’s premature to say exactly how it will play out, but bringing two or more of the current American Athletic Conference (AAC) teams into the Big 12 serves more than one purpose. First, the Big 12 could lose more members. Kansas (Big 10), Iowa State (Big 10) and/or other schools could change conferences. Guessing which teams move around proves difficult, but it’s definitely possible and damaging to the Big 12. Second, the broadening of the Big 12 with college football programs on the rise, as well as programs that expand the Big 12 footprint into new television markets, makes sense. Each one of Houston, Memphis, UCF, and Cincinnati have been through really good seasons lately. SMU cannot be counted out as a possible Big 12 member either. read more: https://news.google.com/articles/CBMiaWh0dHBzOi8vd3d3LnNpLmNvbS9jb2xsZWdlL3VjZi91bml2ZXJzaXR5LW9mLWNlbnRyYWwtZmxvcmlkYS1mb290YmFsbC9jb25mZXJlbmNlLXJlYWxpZ25tZW50LWFuZC10aGUtcGFjdNIBbmh0dHBzOi8vd3d3LnNpLmNvbS9jb2xsZWdlL3VjZi8uYW1wL3VuaXZlcnNpdHktb2YtY2VudHJhbC1mbG9yaWRhLWZvb3RiYWxsL2NvbmZlcmVuY2UtcmVhbGlnbm1lbnQtYW5kLXRoZS1wYWN0?hl=en-US&gl=US&ceid=US%3Aen
  2. It's funny cause a lot of people on here said they wanted PB is Seth got canned and I always thought that Bloesch would be the right man for the job. Just wish that Seth would have gotten him on board here sooner. I think Seth's UNT HC gravestone will read "Should have fired Langston sooner."
  3. Wide Receiver – The Bucs' top four remain the same as last year with starters Mike Evans and Chris Godwin backed up by Antonio Brown and Scotty Miller. Brown took most of the snaps in three-receiver sets after arriving at midseason in 2020 but Miller was the source of a string of big plays, including an enormous touchdown in the NFC Championship Game. Jaydon Mickens and Tyler Johnson occupy the fifth and sixth spots at the moment but have plenty of competition from rookie fourth-rounder Jaelon Darden, first-year man Travis Jonsen and others. Mickens and Darden are the top two competitors for the return job, as well, which could prompt the Bucs to go seven deep at receiver if possible.
  4. North Texas was not an outlier in the instant panic which took place as pundits, professional and amateur, took to giving theories on what could happen to the Mean Green. Conference USA commissioner Judy Macleod did not offer much of a guiding arrow in terms of what the future holds for C-USA teams in a brief statement, but assured the conference would “position [C-USA] institutions collectively.” What that means is up for interpretation, but the statement did not quell the minds of C-USA universities or their fanbases. So, with a conference seemingly as uncertain of the future as its member institutions, what do schools like North Texas need to do to ensure they have a future in a league which seems destined for realignment? read more: https://www.ntdaily.com/column-how-football-can-traverse-the-enigma-of-conference-realignment/
  5. Interesting to think that Covid has increased the interest in regional leagues. Who wants to fly these days?
  6. Sorry to hear this as he was a great teammate and would do what was best for the team as evidenced by his good play on special teams. Wish him well.
  7. No idear. Maybe Seth? Player would be Aune? How about it’s complicated?
