One of the reasons that the AAC is such a coveted conference to be in is the schools in this conference put their money where their mouth is. Tulane is an example of that with their newly built academic building. Check it out very impressive and something we should try and emulate. SMU's may be even bigger and better.

Seems like things worked well when he was here and he knows what is needed. I think he’s a guy we should at least interview if the job is open.

Looking at this squad you have to think we are just a half-way decent QB away from being a pretty salty bunch. I would look at a coach that can bring a transfer or portal QB with him. Or in the very least has a track record of identifying and developing QB's. I would want someone who could talk a Hudson Card or Casey Thompson into coming here as both are surely being show the exit at TU. If you think about it that was what got Sonny to the level of success he achieved, his ability to identify and land QB's from the portal.

You make some good points but for me why would we renew a coach that in 6 years never won his conference and never won a bowl game? How does that resume bode for the move to the American? Will bringingvSeth back sell more tickets and inspire more donors? Will recruiting improve? These are the questions that have timo be asked if you are Wren.

No way - he's a good coach but Baylor isn't going to hire a guy who was just fired from a place they see themselves better than. I think Mack Rhoades would do it but the top Baylor money guys would say no.

Middle Tennessee State University has announced the first of a three-phase, $100 million-plus plan to upgrade athletics facilities, which is expected to be completed in 2024. The first phase, for which the university has secured $66 million in funds, will include the new Student-Athlete Performance Center behind the north end zone at Floyd Stadium and additional improvements to the stadium. Design of the new facility will begin immediately, with project completion expected before the start of the 2024 football season.
