I agree and think A&M has been paying for players for a long time. They are just so big they get away with it.

I really like the defensive back from North Dallas high school. Seems to have great size and speed!

I think they get in free but there is some red tape like they have to show their ID to the ticket office prior to the game and whatnot. Would like to see that simplified similar to what they are doing on voting. It should be very easy for a student to show up and get into the game for free even if they lost their ID as many of us did and couldn’t afford to buy a new one.

I am honestly more of a football fan than basketball but agree that this is worthy of consideration.

Don’t we owe some credit to Seth and Luke and others for identifying and developing the twins, brams Cam and others who have gone into the portal? Of course we would like to have had them stay. But you can’t hold the entire staff responsible for the actions of the NCAA who allowed this portal mess in the first place. If you do want to hold them responsible, then shouldn’t we blame the entire NCAA not just the rules committee? And if the entire NCAA is guilty, then isn’t this an indictment of our educational institutions in general?

You raise a valid point. And can Wren or someone in charge please explain why we have basically avoided the portal for years while coaches like Sonny Dykes have used to great effect and against us? We are a perfect school for the portal. We sit in one if not the best locations in the country for bounce back P5 transfers. Houston and SMU have been doing this nonstop to great success.

I would like to see what else is available but would certainly be supportive of him as a candidate. He would be a huge upgrade from where we are today.
