Used to watch Krista Davey play all the time.. she, April Bonilla and others worked hard and had very little to work with in the first years of the program, but they always played hard. Wont it be great when they have their own stadium?? We used to watch them on the field outside the PEB. Congrats Krista!!! Shane

They are $5. The Baylor program started with two women who wanted to see more gold in the stands. Eventually the school took it over.

The Baylor promotion is called the "Gold Rush" and is in its third year. It has been hugely successful there... I think we could do just as well. And they dont just target the student section. Its a huge deal for students and alumni and even visitors. Ever been to a game with someone, wanted something to wear for a day, but didnt want to fork out $20 for a shirt you might never wear again? Well there are a lot of fans like that at our games.

Baylor has a similar promotion. they print something basic on the front of the gold shirts and sell them for $5. It has been VERY successful. How successful? My dad drives to waco early before the game to make sure he can go by the bookstore to get a shirt.. if he cant get there to get a shirt??? well then he makes a family member go get one for him. It has caught on at other schools as well. Shane

Naming teams after modern day tribes... or using formerly derrogatory terms like Redskins is one thing... attacking a university for using the name of an unknown 3rd century tribe is a bit over the edge. Mine is the official Jostens ring... I like it alot, but it is too loose and I hate the idea of losing it. Has anyone had a jostens ring resized? the small green gem in the middle is also broken (can't remember how that happened) so I need that replaced. Shane
