Let me preface this, that in no way shape or form am I a fan of Baylor. Baylor as a football program may be the worst in the Big XII However, I think overall atheltic championships they are second to UT. Briles gets them to a 7-5 8-4 area he will be a god and off to the next big job.

It was me who suggested it and I still think its a good idea. From what I've read about the guy, he is a very standup and guy and can coach a defense. I don't think he'll be looking at things in such black and white terms as pay and prestige. With him being a single dad, staying local might make the most sense. here's hoping

I can't believe I am typing this, but for some reason Phil Bennett seems like a great candidate. His K-State Def's were great. That may be a product of the players he had there. However he was there when Kstate was on the rise

Ive sat on the alumni side this whole year I will say the alumni side was more full this game, also due to a lot of Navy Fans. However I will say what students show up to the game, they out cheer the alumni side easy.

Whats killing me is that the alumni side is having great turnout. I'm not asking for everyone to cheer every play, but when we are down by 2 with MTSU 3rd and long, that place should be rocking Also at the FAU game and the ULM game, the students turned out better and louder than this past game. Not getting down per se on anyone. I love seeing the turnout just need to get it going. I am partly to blame i suppose. As this is my first year in the MGC, I have been hanging on the deck for the first 2 quarters. I'll be in my seat for the next 2 games

Dodge2007 you heard noise coming from the stadium? That was one of the most silent crowds I've encountered, even when we were keeping it close

This just win mantra while great, I think is a too simplistic way of looking at things. TD has a set bunch of goals he thinks are necessary to win these games The stats in essence validate a win or loss Like when they run stats out there, like team with the Time of Possession in their favor wins the majority of the time. Well if you are up in the game you are running the ball controlling the clock etc so you should win Time of Possession Dodge does have generic Just Win statements, like play hard for 7 seconds at a time etc Also I think when you have 19-24 yr olds, you are trying to give them a goal to reach and be able to force and reinforce it on them I appreciate Dodge's upfrontness with the media and fans. Much better than DD's shtick of " we just need to play better" etc etc.

As someone who has resided on the student side for the last couple years I was shocked when on the alumni side how quiet it was? Nothing going on 4th downs or finishing the north! Texas! chants is this the norm?

Bonfire that was my plan I may end up doing it in the blue lot Bringing the truck in unloading everything and going and dumping the truck up at clark hall or something of that sort

Ok I have season tickets. 4 of them. HOwever in addition to those I have about 8-10 other people coming to the game? what should I do and where should we sit?
