  1. My expectations are that we will lose out the remainder of the season. I will be pleasantly surprised if we win but understand that we are what we are.
  2. we have a 50% chance of winning this week.
  3. http://www.gotroytrojans.com/forums/showthread.php?t=15261 Poster sarcastically comenting on Dodge getting award for his 7 TD's this week vs. feeble WKU. Let's see how many points Troy can post on WKU?
  4. Yeah on the above mentioned but Knott had a horrible attempted tackle on his first kickoff for a return to our 2 yardline tha lead to a WKU TD. Do I expect our kicker to tackle? YES . Everyone should be doing everything they can to get wins...no excuses
  5. wins and are what I care about.
  6. LOL Try this for those of you who are hella pissed at not winning. Step out "emotionally", view UNT games in person at home games so you can count towards attendance. Be excited when we do something right like score a touchdown or go a series without a personal foul. IF, and that is a big IF, we start shooting ourselves in the foot; the pain won't be as bad, you'll just see a team losing a game in dramatic fashion and you won't feel a thing. It's a protective measure I have chosen becuase I will not be let down a again. I will wait until this team starts winning with regularity before I become "emotional invested" again. NUMB
  7. It's very possible and if we do, there is no way you can sell Todd Dodge coming back another year to UNT.
  8. 2nd that. You can only blame the Head Coach, who else can you blame for the W-L record of a football team?
  9. nothing better than making time to go out, spend money on drinks and food then get your heart ripped out at the end of the game. I'll pass, until our team starts a winning.
  10. It's always a new excuse on why we did not win. can't wait for next weeks excuse's!!!
  11. North Texas is what it is. We are a losing NCAA football team hanging on to some past winning moments, and hoping for more.
  12. It's the little details that are vital. Little things make big things happen.
  13. because losing is being accepted and tolerated.
  14. I will be at the game this Saturday and if we lose, will wait to hear the same excuses on why we did not win. 1.#44 better not have any personal fouls on crtical game changing downs. 2. #11 better not telegraph where he is going to throw i.e., NO MORE TURNOVERS, he does not have the arm strength to telegraph. 3. DL better be set and ready to go before OL is ready. Why are they always late getting ready and set? 4. Does our O.C. know how to throw a curve ball??? BE CREATIVE AND COUNTER THE DEFENSE ON THE FIELD!! keep your foot on your opponets throat until the clock reads 00.00, then go shake thier hands and tell them to keep thier head up! 5. No boneheaded personal fouls. If we win, its going to be because the above mentioned statements were addressed! We'll see what happens? Rick
  15. We need Coach Dodge to call plays or get a new O.C. now. Play Jeremy Phillips and take out #44 on passing downs. Riley telegraphing where he is going to throw. Nathan Tune has a stronger arm, lets have a QB rotation during games. Please fix our DL and have those guys ready and set 2 seconds before the snap instead of right after the snap.
  16. "Senior MLB Tobe Nwigwe has to realize that he is the heart of this defense. If he looses his cool, the defense will collapse, just like it did vs. MTSU. He is the leader of the defense and has to start understanding what that means they need from him emotionally."
  17. This goes for both sides of the ball. There have been several times where our D line is not ready for the snap. It drives me crazy to see that.
  18. "Fast forward to the fourth quarter, where an MTSU 15-yard penalty and a five-yard tackle-for-loss had the Blue Raider offense against the ropes. That's when NT bailed Middle Tennessee out with a 15-yard unsportsmanlike conduct flag, putting MTSU on the 24-yard line with a fresh set of downs. Well within striking distance of the endzone, Middle scored on the next play." This player also tackled the Ball State QB that erased a pick 6 from Royce Hill. This player also was quoted earlier in the year that he would do everything in his power to ensure that UNT wins games this year. This player needs to eliminate BONEHEAD penalties at critical times. I'm not picking on this player, its just he was so adamant about making good things happen this year and so far I question his decision making on the field.
  19. Was this written by Brett Vito?, this article actually is pretty well written and tells exactlly what happened. what can I say about Tobe? He's got to show LEADERSHIP and not make bonehead 15yard penalties!!! that cost us points!!! and helps the opponent win!!! we are on the cusp of being a good team...almost there = maybe 4 wins total this year.
  20. green to the bone γιατί είσαι τόσο ηλίθιος ανδρείκελο ... I dare you to spell check my Greek!
  21. Vito loaths UNT. He is an embeded reporter born and raised in Antioch, Alabama (a couple minutes down the road from Troy Alabama) don't be surprised by his negative slant towards UNT. I on to you Vito, Italian name from a guy born and raised in Alabama! hah!
  22. We should play very well, I can't wait!
