The coach for Memphis better start looking for a new job after losing 2 games to Sun Belt teams.

For all of those who went to the game, I would like to hear your opinion on how you were treated by the Arkansas fans. For myself the fans were great and did not show any animosity towards myself or my brother because we were wearing Mean Green shirts, we had more than one set of hog fans that were curteous and even offered us drinks and eats. That brings me to my next point, when my brother and I got to the Mean Green tents we were ignored like the plague, so we turned around and went back to hanging with the Hog fans. I thought it was pretty pathetic that nobody at the Mean Green tents would even speak to us. Not trying to bash us but that was pretty damn embarassing. I will say that I had the pleasure of sitting next to some parents of a couple of freshman and they were great. I just thought I would let everyone know how it made us feel having to go hang out with the Hog fans to be acknowleged during the pregame tailgate.

I have been listening to the Arkansas talk radio shows all week and McFadden is not out for the game, this is a bogus story. The running back that is out is 3rd string RB Michael Smith who was arrested on Sunday.

I don't blame Gundy for ripping this chick, after hearing the whole story from a sports radio station in Tulsa, I am totally for his ripping of the writer. The worst thing about this is that his team had just won a big game and this is what everybody is talking about. According to the guys out of Tulsa this isn't the first Jenny Carlson has done this type of article. Even though Bobby Reid has not lived up to the hype of the great player he was supposed to be, no college football player needs to be ripped like he was in this article. I know we rip Meager all the time on this board, but it is different than a big front page article in the sports section of a widely distributed publication in the state of Oklahoma. Way to go Mike Gundy for standing for your team and your players...

I don't think Casey Dick is good enough as bad as our D is to look like a Heisman winner. We are going to see a lot #5 and #25 on Saturday and its not going to be pretty. McFadden and Jones are the 2 best backs in the SEC. Nobody has stopped them and I don't think we will be the first to stop them.

I happen to like the black uni's, I think it looks really good with the green. I say those should become our main road uni's. Also, it doesn't matter what color unis we wear when we play, it matters how we play in the black uni's. Way to go JJ on the black uni's.

Actually the UNO coach Buzz Williams is originally from Van Alstyne and has worked his way up from a student manager to a Division I head coach. He began his career working for a highly regarded junior college coach Lewis Orr at Navarro College. I happen to know Buzz personally and think he is a good guy. He has truly worked hard to get to the position he is in today.

All I really care about is going into the Sun Belt Tourney on a hot streak and not fading like we have in the past years. I say lets get there first and then worry about it.

I heard last weekend that he was on campus for an official visit. Has anyone heard if he is giving us serious consideration?? He would be great addition to Dodge's first recruiting class.

Since seeing this guy is having trouble getting transportation, to me that means this is one kid that truly needs a scholarship to go to school. This has to be a guy that will have a strong will to work hard and become a football player that we need. Lets just hope this weekend's visit goes well and we get a firm verbal committment and signature on signing day.

I don't agree, year in and year out Western Kentucky is the class of the Sun Belt, the Sun Belt title has gone through WKU every year since we joined the Belt.

As I opened my sunday sports section of the Times Record, in Ft Smith, AR, on page 2 there is a small article titled Mean Green Mess. It talks about Matress Mac threatening to withdraw his 1 million dollar donation. Also it includes DD secretly pulling out the black jerseys out for the last home game to hack RV off, and then last but not least it desribes the fight between RF and the wr coach, as RF putting the wr coach in a headlock during halftime of a the FAU game. This is a total embarassment that a newspaper over 250 miles from Denton, publishes this in their Sunday paper for everyone to see. I can already hear my co-workers tomorrow blasting me about this. I had already seen this episode on this board, but now to see it in my now hometown newspaper is a total embarassment. As it is we can't get any press, but now we are getting the press nobody wants, the press where the publication is making a big joke about how pitiful our program has become under DD. Thanks DD for all the pub you have gotten us in your last month on the job, now take your staff and get out of town.

What makes this a great win for us is that it was on the road. If we can learn to win games on the road and defend our home court, we can become a pretty good basketball team. Now lets make it 2 years in a row over Tulsa. Go Mean Green
