Well silly me, I thought this was a forum to promote spirit in the athletic teams. The logo should be changed to "GoMeanGreen.com: Mean Green Fans Calling Other Mean Green Fans Idiots, Since 1994". Also the logo should be changed to a picture of a monkey, wearing a White Helmet with pride stickers, flinging poo at another monkey, who is wearing a green helmet, with no pride stickers, but it does have the script on it. Also, each monkey will be holding up a different version of The Claw and each will be wearing a button pro or against a student athletic fee. If we could just work the new stadium into it some how.... I'll leave it to better minds.

There are religious wars between Christians, Muslims and Animist Traditions all over Africa, RIGHT NOW. Bad people will use God as a reason to kill someone else, period. It doesn't matter the name they call God is Jehovah, Allah, Haile Selassie, Bhagavan, Siddhartha Gautama or Rashdak, the giant sea turtle that carries the world on its shoulders. Also, if you will read a history book, you will see that every single new wave of immigrants that came to America has a) caused unrest because they like their traditions better than the established ones 2) been called the end of American Society by xenophobes and c) been Americanized and ready to call the next wave of immigrants the end of American Society in turn. Rick, no one is saying Islam is blameless, but you do realize there are sects that are more harsh than others right? Saudi Arabi is run by Wahhabi's, a fundamentalist backwards sect. 1) Have you ever even read a history book? Christian's have killed millions in the name of religion. So have muslims, so have hindus, so have pretty much every one else. Irish Catholics and Irish Protestants are to this day killing each other and bombing each because of their religions, which both happen to be christian. 2) The vast majority of muslims are not terrorists and don't approve of terrorist acts. Yes, some due, but some christians want all gays to be put to death, all interracial couple to be put to death, all non whites forced to move from the US or suffer death... that doesn't mean ALL CHRISTIANS want that. Do you even know there are hundreds of sects in Islam, just like there are in Christianity? Have you heard of Sufi's, the Druze, or Salafism. Yes, that totally explains Article 6, section 3 of the Constitution. If you would bother to read the records of the congress that formulated the constitution, you would see that, after debate, they went to great pains to make sure that there was no official religion of the United States. This, even as several of the states lobbied heavily to create an official religion. It was a dividing issue, but the majority of the founds did not want an official religion named.

Say hello to more refineries. Frontline just had a big story on Germany and its solar industry. It's been a big success, the government has spent billions in incentives to get people put up solar panels everywhere. Problem being the government has run out of money for this and it is not economically feasible to do it without the incentives. Also, millions of energy cells used by these are coming to end of life and no one knows where to put them. Hydrogen won't be viable until something huge like controllable cold fusion comes around to make electricity so cheap as to make it almost free to produce it. Hydrogen can be produced biochemically but produces alot of toxic waste products. Wind/wave seems like a good solution, but you have to put them some where, destroying something or others habitat, and it only scales so far with current technologies.

Yes it will, but we aren't even close to the technology now. Gasoline is an easily transportable highly energy dense stable medium to power engines. Nothing comes close to that. And once we solve the gas problem, we are going to have to figure out what to do with BILLIONS of highly toxic battery cells that will be powering the new cars...

First I understand you were mislead, I hope you can see that their founder is a racist, and that the organization has carried racist actions and consorted with racist groups. You need to couple that with funding for a retraining program for those American's that do get displaced. There, America gets the cheap work force immigrants have always provided, the displaced Americans get to go to another job, the problem of a shrinking tax base is solved (because Americans don't want to have large families), the only problem that isn't solved is *gasp* America looks different! Ben Franklin railed against the dirty hordes of Germans that where coming to America, refusing to assimilate, couldn't learn english and were threatening to destroy the American way of life. After the Germans others railed against the Irish not assimilating and living in their own ghettos, then the italians wouldn't learn english and wouldn't assimilate, and on and on until you get to the central americans. Well guess what, the original immigrants almost never assimilate. It's too hard to completely lose culture. But their children are usually at least half and half, and their grandchildren are pure american and usually can't even speak their grandparents language. It's going to be no different with the immigrants that are "threatening to overrun America" now, and people would know it if they bothered to open up a history book instead of listening to sound bites from racists like John Tanton.
