Thanks for the responses. I think we are probably gonna end up going (hopefully I won't go bankrupt from gas prices for my SUV!) Those civil war sights would be interesting to see. And mostly it will just be great to see the mean green on the road.

So I'm thinking of dragging my boyfriend on a road trip up to Tennessee for that second game of the season......I'm just wondering from those of you who've made that trip how it is? How far is it from Dallas? (Yahoo maps says 11 hrs) And is it a pretty drive or boring?? Never been up that way and think it would be fun. Anybody's expierence would be appreciated. Thanks!

Thank you for that! You are right, you probably are a lot more loyal than many who live 5-50 miles away. I hate when this board turns against its own. We are all we have guys! Based on the FOI junk, we don't even have much support from within. So can't we all just get along and stop going after eachother?!!? Ok, this is random, but I thought maybe one of ya'll might be able to help. If you or someone you know owns a Jeep Grand Cherokee, it would be great if you could let me know how it's worked for you. I've done a lot of research and found out people either love or hate their Jeep. The ones that hate them usually had problems with reliability/brakes. If you could let me know your experience, that'd be so so so great! Thanks so much!

While we're talking about old school nickelodeon, we can't forget Pinwheel. It was such a great show. I'd love to see an episode of this stuff now that I'm older, so I did a search and didn't find anything but found this funny Web site about the show. Mine is also the offical Josten's ring. It's all white gold with no stones or anything so it goes with everything and I LOOOVE it. I get asked about it a lot. Had a random guy at a Pat Green concert climb over the seat cause he was so excited about my "aggie" ring. I set him straight. But I get lots of comments and that is always good cause then I get to talk up North Texas. (Especially with the kids I work with. They always ask about it/want to try it on.)

Yes we have an attendance problem. But I think it is a little silly to get so worked up when the worst attended game was on Valentine's night....I'm surprised we even had over 900. Who would go to a bb game on Valentine's day?? I love the mean green as much or more than others on this board but I wasn't going to watch them play on vday. As for the games being boring, the western kentucky game was anything but boring (maybe you should have gone to it, Tony). Frusturating yes, but to me, supporting the mean green is always fun and never boring. As for the ticket sales, that seems like another silly thing to be complaining about. I see ya'lls point that you'd like a more sophisicated system but when has the line been so long that the current method didn't work? No one goes to the games! You shouldn't ever encounter a long line. If you do, YAY, people actually came! And while I'm thinking of it, the jumphouse for the kids is a great idea. Thank you to whoever thought of that! I'll be there Thursday night.

I'd never seen a North Texas game like this. The first half was so exciting----alllll those 3 pointers------and the end realllllly hurt. I can't imagine how the players felt. It was one of those ending where you really just can't move for a second or two. Heartbreaking loss is a good way to describe it but I'd have to agree with the others saying we've got to learn how to keep a lead. I maybe cursed us because as soon as we held that nice lead in the beginning, I said we'd probably end up losing cause we can't keep our leads......
