Let me just say sorry for this entire post. I was busy this weekend, didn't have time to really look at the schedule and just glanced at some posts so I assumed the team was Ark. st thinking we were already playing conference games. So next Saturday we start sunbelt play? ? Again, sorry! Just ignore my girlness.

Ohhhh, I thought this game was vs Arkansas State. Maybe it is a little bit ok that the score was so bad.

I miss the days when I was in college when we used to say to people, oh just wait until we are in conference play cause we will win all those games. Um...now we can't even win a SUNBELT game?! Not good. We are going to lose the exact type of fans we have to keep. Obviously the die hard fans will never jump ship but we know there are plenty who will lose interest in this program. Maybe now someone else is with me when I say I hate the white helmets. ha

I am sad to have not made it into that last picture becaue that is pretty much exactly where the Justins were standing when we ran into them. KingDL I've never met you, maybe next tailgate!

Another great addition to fouts this year: credit cards are now accepted. Some may remember last year when I found out the hard way you could only use cash. So what did I do yesterday? Go to the ATM and get out money, then found out they now take credit cards. Good job to whoever got that going!

1. Thank God for new renovated bathrooms. The bathrooms have done a 180 since last season! They are no longer 10,000 degrees! They have new toliets! They have a new shelf to put your purse! 2. I HATE the white helmets. 3. This is the first year I felt old at a unt game. The students actually look young to me. I am sad this day has come.

Is it sad I wouldn't even have noticed that change if you hadn't posted it?

I'm sure no one cares, but I just want to say that I am so so so excited that Saturday is the first home game of the season! I have been looking forward to this day since the last home game of last season. There is nothing like tailgating with new and old friends and nothing quite like the feeling of fouts (in all it's metal beauty) on game day!!!!!!!!!!!!! Anyway, GO MEAN GREEN!! And everyone better plan to be there and bring lots of friends! Can't wait to see you guys. ps...who else is feeling this excited?!?!

I lived on Mulberry and how sad is it that it's been so long I can't remember the number part of the address...920? It was walking distance to school/work/fry street. What could have been more perfect when I was 21 years old?

DallasGreen, I think you read my post wrong. I am on your side. I was saying we SHOULD be in uniform. And saying "come on" suck it up to those who are using HEAT as the reason we didn't.

If OU could wear uniforms in the HEAT then we should have too. Come on.

Before this thread got ridiculously off topic, someone asked what else it was that was torn down. Bagheri's. I loved this place before it turned into a freakin hookah lounge. If you have not yet been to Denton to see what Fry Street looks like you really should go. I didn't think it would have an effect on me but I actually got tears in my eyes!! It is not the same place and it won't ever be. No matter if you hated Fry Street while you were in school or loved it, we can all agree what we once had there will never be again.

That was the Membership/Marketing position. I'm not sure we've seen what the Director position pays. As for the job going to a non-alum, I think that actually is a good thing. We need someone to see things for what they are and not let their own North Texas feelings cloud their judgement. On another note, I think it is completly pathetic that our alumni association has only 6,000 members. WHAT>?!?!?!?! Every single person on this board should go and join RIGHT NOW if they are not already a member.

You can take the girl out of Tavern but you can't take Tavern out of the girl. Good reunion there this past weekend.

I'm glad to hear he is doing well. I hope he gets back with us on here soon:)
