That would be fantastic but how can one college make cuts and others not show any effects of the budget problem? That doesn't seem fair...

Wow, at least the COE is sending out a letter to students. CAS hasn't sent out anything and probably won't! COE seems to do a great job taking care of their students.

I'm a senior at NT, majoring in Journalism/Public Relations and minoring in marketing. I'm graduating in December and I want to work in non-profit PR or for a major league baseball team. I love the Mean Green. Last season we went to every home game, the TCU and UT games (YAY FOR ROAD TRIPS!!)

aflack duck, are you in the ticket writing business at unt!??!!? STAY AWAY FROM MY CAR!!!!!!!! But yeah, my ticket for no permit was $38 which is so insane to me. But thats what I get for wanting to park illegally in that lot I guess. and unt lifter, bikes are also a source of tickets. You aren't allowed to ride them on campus. Last year police officers sat on THEIR bikes on this little hill and then speed after biker riders and gave them a ticket......yeah.....go figure.

what?! I didn't say anything about if they should be able to park at fouts or not but now that you bring me into this......... I don't think the student coaches should have to buy permits just to park at their work. If my job made me pay the huge, ripoff ammount NT charges for a permit just to park at my job....I would be very mad. (And parking at my job is bad enough as it is...imagine fighting with 3million minivan moms at 3pm in a school zone...all fighting for that last parking spot...not pretty!) The athletes...at first I thought they shoudn't have to pay just to practice out there but then I realized I have to have a dumb permit to park near the GAB to "practice" in the journalsim lab on the weekends and at night. So I don't know.

Nobody should park at the courtyard apts unless they have the UC sticker cause they are joining the evil forces of denton and towing cars now. <_< I HATE THE TOW COMPANIES........

All I have to say is I wish he'd grabed a teacher hang tag for me too! (and no you cant get away with parking in the staff lot at wooten even for 15 mins..anybody have $38!? )

They played at Andy's on the square on Wednesday nights last spring. And the cover was only $1. I'm not sure if all the lab bands still play there or not but I'm sure you could call Andy's and find out.

They have to be able to take up the floor...how else can they have all of the events already mentioned in this thread and highschool graduations?! I'm pretty sure that's where my brother is graduating from high school this May. As for the idea of concerts in the superpit, I think its a fantastic plan. Saturday at the game I was looking around at the empty seats and how big that place is and wondering why we don't utilize the space more. Especially if there was a way to make money. If they brought in somebody everbody wants to see, it would be a winning sitaution for everyone. And once we pay off all the costs, maybe some of that revenue could go to getting the new stadium done before my grandkids go to UNT!

I also wanted to let you know what a great job you did. Saturday night is the first time we got there in time to for the national anthem and I was really impressed. Great job!

Travis, I think you have officially lost it So, worst movie ever...what dreams may come...(what was goin on with that movie?!!? when we saw it the power went out and we were stupid enough to actually wait around for it to come back on... ) And a "worst moive ever list" cannot be complete without a mention of that brady bunch movie from a few years ago and the very brady sequel...

Yes thats the wierd part....I found that out this summer after my internship far away from Denton. It'd be nice to have the money from the realworld and the lifestyle from college and then I could really live it up.....

Yes, Brent, what was I thinking?!?! BRING ON MAY 9!!!! yes this is sad...day three of the semester is not even here yet and I want out....... (and aren't there more students on here than the ones that replied or does everyone else somehow enjoy that lovely thing called education that I spend so much money on to torture myself!!)
