Our time is now. The stars have aligned brilliantly for this to be a very special night. The World Series ended last night, the Mean Green are on a national/regional broadcast, we get to treat our home fans to the New Mean Green, we pay back Rice for that tragedy in Houston and people will be on sugar rushes and highs all night. There will be a lot of eyeballs on us tonight and this team and fanbase is ready to make our presence known. We are bringing excellent football to the Metroplex and have a better record than the Cowboys, Frogs and Ponies. Mean Green Nation - I Plan On Hearing You Tonight! GMG!!!!!

I ordered a fresh blue moon draft at the strike of midnight just off Times Square in the apple in preparation of our monster game in Denton in 18 hours. Early flight out straight to Mean Green country some freshies and then yell like he@ll at the biggest game at North Texas since NMSU. Bringing it today! See you soon Mean Green Nation!!!!!! GMG

I love the educational tour we are feeding our conference mates. In Hattiesburg some fans approached and asked where we were located. Another fan asked who we had next and mentioned he was looking forward to moving to the west next year. Then there was being called north Texas state at la tech. Well I think they all know now that we are North Texas! Don't forget being the last two homecomings these past two weeks. I think they might rethink that decision next time we head to Ruston and Hattiesburg. Southern Miss fan was telling us it was going to be a long drive home before the game. Talking smack on an 18 game losing streak. Well they did not see that coming and I was hopeful but didn't see it either. Hello we are North Texas. Our team is so nice and respectful and then the whistle blows and we rip your intestines out. Followed by handshakes in closing. Next educational road tour stop. Tulsa Oklahoma. GMG

Ciwboys and texans are two of the jokes if the nfl. Texas football fans deserve better but right now good football runs through Denton Boston Denver and Seattle. Cowboys are passé interesting historical reading. GMG

I walked out of the bar onto bourbon cuz I couldn't watch. Heard the cheers knew we had lost. Thank Goodness for the Mean Green!!!!!

I would still take their attendance numbers in a flash. I also think in 5 years UTSA is in AAC and the Mean Green is winning bowl games and making our mark on the national stage - regardless of conference affiliation. A USM fan saw us walking up to the gate and asked where we were sitting. We told him Top of the Rock aka cheap seats. He pulled out 6 tickets and gave us two on the 50 lower level. It was tempting to sit in the den of Golden Eagles in some great seats but naaaaa - much more fun in the corner with the Green. Wish I would have seen him just a few minutes earlier though! GO CUSA! GMG!!!!!

I will say I was shocked that 23k real bodies in seats showed up for an 0-6 team today. I expected a tomb after half and a lot spilled out but a lot stayed. We would have trouble clearing 10k for a winless team. The guy behind me kept yelling southern miss we still believe in you! I almost felt sorry for he fans but I couldn't because I didn't want to bring in the rally. Pure black and gold passion on display tonight. We are very lucky to have this mean green to root for! Bring Thursday and twice in November! GMG

They thank the fans for coming out. They don't even realize the emotion they bring to my life! It's really a team thing and it IS easy being Green!!!!! GMG

8 hrs door to stadium today add 2 more for the bus tomorrow maybe at 8:00am? GMG

USM fans are a class act. They did nothing but wish us luck the rest if the way and are a proud bunch. We are fortunate to get them down here this year. This must be a bear of a place to win when they are good! The Rock is awesome! Players thanked us for coming out and I thanked them back while yelling its time to eat some rice!!!!! GMG

Love the UNT eagles chant idea. It only has to be done once at a time and there are multiple jump in opportunities. Easy to learn easy to execute. Recipe for success! I like the go north Texas go north Texas go go chant too but that works well with the band.

I like it when Kram gets feisty and makes the appropriate call out. Our green is bright and makes a nice television appearance. That crazy talk about us not accepting or deserving of a bowl game at 6-6 is just that- crazy talk. Don't wait to be perfect to seize an opportunity. Both Texas state and UTSA are gunning for bowl games in their first year of d1a. We must win and get to At Least 6-6. The dirty birds and bobcats are not concerned about looking pretty at their extra month of practice and with their newfound regional and national exposure. This is not politics this is a bloodbath for relevance in the state and on the national stage. GMG

One more that sticks out was the lala game in Louisiana. I remember the sheets pouring on us but it was a warm rain and we were kings of the hill at that time just rolling through teams leaving them on the side of the road in our dust. I think we blanked hem 27-0 or something like that. Back to Saturday no rain please because we need peeps in the stands and a tailgate of epic alcohol proportions to wash down Tulane. GMG

Coach needs to realize that this is not Ames. Dallas fans have standards and you must win to keep them coming. I still don't understand why we don't have season tickets goals attendance goals every year and this should absolutely be tied to rick's performance plan and evaluation. I swear this university runs like Washington at times. Time for some Mean Green tea. GMG

If you really want to go back to one of the best rain games - see Nevada. They owned us for years and to finally beat them in a Texas sized thunderstorm was beautiful. GMG
